I bought two things last week and will make a donation to stay in good standing.

vintage (1960s) tweed jacket—plaid, side vents, ticket pocket, 3 roll 2. $2
vintage hopsack blazer—three patch pockets, swelled seams. $10

Both house brands for small, defunct menswear shops. A hopsack blazer and a tweed jacket have both been high on my wants list for a few months now.

ditto this. We buy allloooott of gum and icecream around here.

I'm taking inventory of my clothes. 100ish button down dress shirts. I guess I need alot of cloth to keep life interesting.   Anyone care to share where they are at?

I'm not donating or purging.  I stored photos on my phone, should I get an urge I can compare to see if the pattern is filling a gap.

I have a rotation of roughly 15 button down shirts for work then maybe 6-7 casual button downs.  Thinking of streamlining my work shirts so I have more of a "uniform" and have 3-4 colors but multiples of each.  My closet is my limitation and currently shoes are taking up more and more each year.  Casual clothes tend to be jeans and a random top.

What I find I reach for when I leave work are gym shorts and a t-shirt to take the dogs out in and only change if we head to the store or something.  Hanging out on the deck in anything more in 100* + humidity is insane.  I guess I could always rehydrate with more beer to offset the increased sweat rate of a different wardrobe?

Hey guys, Mimo's daughter is raising money for cancer research, so I figured I'd add it to the list of acceptable charitable donations for this club:

Today's exchange rate: $1 USD = $13.52 pesos... I think I will be safe for this NPC. That exchange type is ridiculous! I'm not buying anything until it comes back to $12 something. Siatuations like this makes me want to get out of Mexico. confused.gif

June is a tough month...Father's day means great sales on mens clothing.  For some reason I have had the blazer itch this week but have not looked at 1

Agreed re: the sales this month. Still holding strong, though.

I finally hit my weight loss goal today. Down to 175 at 6' 2". I was at 205 a few months ago. I'll probably drop 5 more pounds but can finally start replacing clothes with confidence in July. First purchase will be a pair of jeans (3Sixteen or RRL). I'll also get a few sport coats taken in. Can't wait to have stuff that fits again.

Just want to say that I'm very pleased with all the mutual support I've seen here the last couple of weeks.
