I need a ruling. Wolverine 1000 miles seconds for 135 including shipping and tax on sierra trading post. Bought a pair before June started from Nordstroms but haven't worn yet. I returned the ones from nordstroms and picked up the cheaper ones.

I'm still in the clear right? The deal was too good to sit and wait for an official ruling on. There was a 35% coupon that stacked that would have expired tomorrow.

EDIT: I know this all sounds mighty convenient and suspicious but I have receipts to back it up if needed!

In the clear as far as I'm concerned.

Question - Picking up items at the tailor that I dropped off prior to June 1 is acceptable correct? I'll need to pay of course...

I paid in full ahead of time for just this reason. If it is at all possible to delay the pick up for another two weeks, delay. If not, pay. The tailor should not suffer. NPC will not hold it against you. But hopefully lesson learned, right? Name of the game is thinking ahead.

I still hope to be in npc for rest of the month.

Agreed, especially since it seems those purchases were nowhere near crucial. Grenson on gilt? A scarf from RL? C'mon, you're not even trying. If this is how you purchase during npc I wonder what it's like no holds barred hah

Btw mine were somewhat Crucial my apcs blew out in the crotch and got shrunk so I needed a new pair of jeans for the camp I am going to and my last rrl shirt shrunk like a bitch in the wash and fits small as hell now and I need a new western shirt for a rodeo coming up. So of anyone is up for a free rrl western shirt in a size large that fits like a medium and is navy I will send it to you.

Well my tailor will understand... I'll do my very best to hold off.

I did however fail in other regards... too good to pass up.

Looks like some charity is getting $15. I'll keep you all updated

I don't agree with the tailor bit but that's my personal view. I have two sport coats (one below), two ties and one pair of pants there (below). My sport coats have minor alterations that could wait but the pants don't. ALL mine are like this below.. This, in my eyes, is unacceptable to even leave the house in. He's working on one pair now and if he gets it right in a few tries, I'll bring the rest back to him.

He said he can charge me all at once for the two sports coats, two ties and eight trousers some time next month. I may be willing to take one pair of pants now and bite the donation. But I view this as necessary, although I'm sure I'm alone.

PS, olive pants/tanned dub monks/navy blazer = good fit? Right? Right?

Personally I have my tailoring settled for a while but I've never understood the point of delaying that for the NPC... it's not really a "purchase." Seeing as the point of the club is to force you to wait a month to cull frivolous/unnecessary purchases, I don't see how tailoring would fall into that category, i.e. something you want tailored now is unlikely to suddenly fit next month, whereas something you want to buy now may just be an impulse.

However, rules are rules. Maybe consider that change for next month?

First I must admit I have really bad spending habit. Last month for the first time I was able to stay purchase free. on average I have been spending at least 5 times of my this months total purchase.
Grenson shoes were on my head for over 2 months now. I couldve got them during npc break. But I was confident I can stay totally purchase free. My friend dragged me to rl store last night and they had 60%. Off. - saw the scarf and I felt guilty to buy it. But reality is I have only 2 scarves one over 3 years old other about 2 years old. In Sydney its really cold winter so it was a necessity. And I feel guilty buying the shoes and the scarf.

Bah, you think that due process matters?

It makes sense, provided that the clothes were commissioned outside of NPC. Consider it changed.

Just giving you a hard time.. I'm sure we're all here because we wish we spent less, otherwise this club would be rather bland

I think you are put on probation until you make a matching donation

Probation. Another slip up is kicked out. Probably no mockery though, just gentle encouragement to try again next month.

I failed terribly my first month.

This thread has stopped me buying quite a few things from the June sales for Father's Day.  One thing I need to switch for next month is the amount I spend on groceries.  That in itself could save me enough money to spend on clothes every month!

I've failed terribly. Skip the yellow card and just give me the red card.

Carmina Navy Shell Full Strap Loafer (couldn't resist that, no way..) and my own MTO in my sig that I can't really opt out of just for this thread. I did start it in May, but it's carried over in to June.

Maybe rushing in to this thread unprepared was as bad an idea as an impulse buy for me. Sorry guys.
