Just how comfortable *is* an Eames?

So I already have a lazyboy which is big and fantastic for taking hung over naps in, but I need a chair to put in the corner of my office to do some reading in. My job involves reading significant amounts every day, so I'd like somewhere I can do it in complete comfort without falling asleep every time (I figure reclining is the leading cause there). So is an Eames (or knockoff) worth the money? Comfortable, or just a lot of pretty and not much function?

Go sit in one. I realize that you can't always tell from sitting in a chair for two minutes how comfortable it will be sitting for two hours. However, you can usually tell if it's NOT comfortable. People are different shapes and sizes. People look for different things in a chair. Hearing other people tell you how comfortable a chair is won't really answer if the chair is comfortable to you.

They are comfortable to me. My in-laws have an old Plycraft knock-off that's just as comfortable to me too, but that knock-off was better made back then.
