Grey suit combo (for wedding) - Help required - Page 6

Max. The navy tie you posted would be much better than the earlier tie choices (with the caveat that you want to make sure you do not clash with others in the wedding party, though navy is a pretty neutral color that doesn't clash with much).

Traditionally, there is. smile.gif

I'm not sure where you are getting your information from, or what your local customs may be, but this is not true.

First, you really shouldn't be wearing loafers with a suit anyway. And cuffs have nothing to do with it. With or without cuffs, suits generally dictate a lace-up shoe.

If anything, cuffs are slightly more casual than plain, so I wouldn't deliberately try to pair a more formal shoe with the more casual pant.

Yes, it does.  Good choice.

Looks pretty good from a color combination perspective.

That's why several of the initial posts suggested to go with navy.

About the hanky. Can I wear white linen only or use some colour? (e.g. white with spots, etc.)

Wear the white.  Do not match the pocket square to the tie.  You could do a navy pocket square if you wanted, but don't get one that matches the tie's pattern.
