Portland D G, that was helpful, thanks! I would need some measurements first to know what size I will need. I'm also gonna wait and see what Duffle coats are in this season as they probably are a warmer jacket, although that Bal Coat sure is tempting. I'd love some photos once you receive it if that's possible! :)

Bal Coat. Think there's a polka dot rather than floral version too possibly?

^^Loving the look of those long beach pants!!! Too many good pieces, I'm having a hard time working out priorities!

Can someone post a pic of the Reversible Bal Coat? My Google-fu is failing me at the moment. I'm definitely looking for a winter coat this year and I'm hoping EG can satisfy my requirements on warmth + style.

Only picture I've seen.

Watch out for Oi Polloi's medium red cpo shirt, if you don't mind your tags been sewn on upside down, :satisfied:.

This is awesome. First world problem: My friend has the Ground Jacket from I think SS11? And it has that same floral print on it. So I do hope they have other patterns for the inside.

Here's a shot of debatable quality from the showroom from last January. I took a medium and it fit pretty true / not insanely slim. im wearing it with the wool on the inside here.

google might not be much help if the jacket hasn't released yet; I'm expecting this in a later drop

im excited to get these!

edit: not entirely sure why I seem to be planking. could have sworn it was 2013..

More drops at Nepenthes, including a natural denim Bedford? And herringbone everything.

It's happening, etc.

Would of loved to see a snap on hood for the Bal coat. Like the storm coats from previous seasons.

What's the warmest winter jacket that EG produces, in this season or maybe the last two FWs?

Oi Polloi have good run already of EG , Parka looks a very busy piece , not sure about 23" pit-pit for an XL though ..

it's quite a busy piece. And the price tag is also quite hefty = £504.17 excluding VAT.

There are over 30 buttons visible just on the front of the jacket with hood attached! Just count them!

Those pants seem to fit very awkwardly on this particular model. Possibly because he sized down? It appears as though it is sitting below his waist line.

The Blue Canvas Fatigue Pants seem to fit a little better. Blue duck canvas?

Honestly guys I don't think the Need Supply model sized down on those Matt pants at all. I went there a few days ago and tried on both the Matt pants and fatigues and they fit me they exact same way. I would've picked up the fatigues if they had them in olive because I didn't want navy (I have them ordering olive for me). I can see a lot of "hardcore" EG fans not liking the fit of the Matt pants as they fit a lot slimmer than any EG pants I've ever tried on. Just look at the Japanese lookbooks. If you see how slim they are on these rail thin Japanese models then you know they'll be extremely slim on the avg American. Regardless the construction is great on both pants and I will pick up both the Matt pants and fatigues this FW from Need Supply as they are the only place I can try EG on locally so I fully support them :).

^ Thanks Yessir.

The feedback is awesome. The slim and tapered fit certainly goes against what I would traditionally expect from the not-always-well-fitted ways of EG.

I actually don't mind the slim fit but using a 6' 5" model is straight ridiculous!

Have you tried on or own a pair of the Wings + Horns Westpoint Twill Chinos? I know Need Supply stock them. Curious to know if similar to the Matt Pants? I'm 6' tall and built like a thermometer, so these will probably fit well on me.

Still though, I have been wearing AW11 Cinch Pants a fair bit lately, and they fit between fitted and baggy. A really nice in-between fit which can lend itself to a pin roll quite nicely and goes well with all EG shirts and jackets (also loose fitting and slightly baggy). Compare this with the SS13 Cinch Pants, where there is a much stronger taper from knees down with a smaller leg opening, and less room in the thighs.

This is not neccessarily a bad thing, a modern and contemporary fit has a place in my wardrobe, but it is odd when considering the shirts/jackets fit large around the chest and tends to flare outwards around the waist. In a medium, I cannot tuck any EG shirts in without looking awkward (in a bad way) with excess fabric bunching together.

Actually I've owned the w+h westpoint chinos and they fit quite similar to the Matt pant. So that's a fair comparison to me. I love slim fit and both slouchy fit pants which is why I will pick up both pants. Both have a place in my wardrobe.

I'd also like to know.
My guess is with the Wool Duffle Coats.
