Give them a ring. They frequently have tricker's makeups in stock. You can expect to pay $6-700 for them.

Wow was expecting to pay around $4-500. Didn't expect that much. That's essentially cordovan prices. Nonetheless I need those in my life and they would go with everything in my wardrobe.

Same here. Was expecting around $500 mark at most. Would like someone to confirm actual pricing though.

Any NYC locals visiting Nepenthes store anytime in the near future?

Price was $600 when I inquired back in March. Trickers are always expensive from US retailers. And cordovan is overrated anyway.

Also, the prices was quoted for the cap toe/wingtip version...not the exact one shown above. Guessing they're the same, but could be different.

I really like the new Upland vest design too, I keep waiting for the photographer vest to be reintroduced, but I just dont know if it's going to happen.

Size 36 Ghurka's in khaki twill for a really good price here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-Enginee...836084?pt=US_CSA_MC_Pants&hash=item2c6f896434

Thanks for the heads up, giving them a shot. Hopefully not too huge. If true waist really measures 36 they oughta be OK.

One heads up deserves another

Been tempted by this Daiki era Woolrich print print jacket on yoox--sizes S and L, $85.

Those brown duck canvas fatigues are nice looking! Wouldn't mind having those...nice alternative to the green since my parka from FW11 is green which means I can't wear it with at least 1/2 of my EG pants collection.

$600 asking price must be due to importation costs, as Trickers is made in England, combined with the cost of special make up collaboration mark ups.

Still though.. lust levels quite high on the brown pair. If anything for their unique mix of shades and materials.

Cordovan is definitely expensive, but in all honesty, I wish I had the money to own more pairs! I own a few pairs of Aldens and they are incredibly solid and quite comfortable once properly broken in. As a material, also very hard wearing and requires little maintenance given the high sheen and lustre of the leather finish. I am clearly converted when it comes to cordovan. :D

I've had Alden cordovan and I wasn't a huge fan honestly. I prefer regular leather, I like the way it ages more and I find it more comfortable as well. But, I realize I'm in the minority with that oppinion!

I've been wanting those Tricker wing tip/cap toe combos since I visited NYC in fall of 2011....I should probably buy some already.

I have those same ghurka's (size 36) and love them, super comfortable. For reference i wear a large size workaday fatigue. The ghurka's leg is a tad slimmer than the workaday fatigue.

Shoreman,

You should be good, I have em in a 36 and I wear a true 36 waist. The fabric has a really nice hand to it, but it's still rather tough. The legs can be tapered w/ the button (although this looks extremely awkward so I don't do it) Funny I'm pretty sure that dude got them at the Barney's outlet in Orlando, I frequent there like 4-5 times a year and I've never found EG, figures he would.

I think you'll dig them. The front pocket is awesome.

Well Slide13 you were right about the price. I just called Nepenthes NYC and they stated that the multicolor wingtip is $600. They said they have them with a leather sole and one with a commando sole. Both are in stock right now but they only have certain sizes.

Sorry if this is obvious or I missed it:

Do the olive reverse sateen fabric fatigue pants fit like the slimmer mainline ones from the last summer season, or like the roomy Workaday fatigues. I can't tell from the pictures.

Also, has anyone tried on the Bal coat yet? I tried the summer one from a couple of seasons ago but didn't buy because it fit like a tent, a look I couldn't pull off.

It sounds like the new fatigues are slimmer than Workadays but not exactly slim. I'd venture a guess in between the Workaday and the slim ones from SS.
