It will soften up with wear and wash and develop character just like a pair of raw denim, I think you'll enjoy it but expect it to be pretty rough at first. Although, with the use of heavier fabrics Daiki usually always prewashes them.

No? Not even if you buy for like $4000?
To me it's a matter of taking care of your customers and showing appreciation. I usually get discounts when buying in stores for a lot less amounts.

How can I as a non us citizen take advantage of tax free purchases when I visit the US, someone told me there are some papers that the stores can fill out if you show them your passport and you'll get to buy free of tax. Do you know? Thanks a lot

Not sure, I've only done that at the border/airport kiosks a couple times, just show your receipts and the sum of taxes paid gets credited to your cc.

I think if your going to spend 4k on a single visit you should speak to the manager and see if they can through in a small discount, if anything I'd expect something in the range of 10% - 15% discount, but not much more than that unless you grab mostly older stock items.

Good luck and report back on your experience.....

Stupid question perhaps, but have you tried one of the tab collar shirts? From my experience the tab collar shirt has a fairly accommodating, standard slim fit compared to some of the other EG shirt models.

Definitely no tax refund scheme available in NYC.

I know Bloomingdales for example, will give tourists a 10% discount once you present your passport to the Concierge desk. I would recommend a visit there to check their limited EG range.

Nepenthes have published a sneak peek at the summer 2014 collection. More on their tumblr page.

If anyone wants to take a shot at this, I'd appreciate it. I picked up some old stock painter pants off of Yoox and I know Yoox models always make everything look terrible, but this one is sort of perplexing me. I know they did the reversed fabric painter pants in SS11 and they only did them in 3 fabrics, OD sateen, brown sateen, and khaki sateen - the pictures below are good photos of the khaki sateen.

Now, the pants I bought off Yoox - that are reversed fabric painter pants from SS11... look completely different through the photo on Yoox, but I don't know what else they could be unless they're a sample.

Is it just awful lighting? Or are they different pants?

Go!

have you gotten the pants yet? My money is on terrible photography by Yoox and that they are the same pants. They are consistently horrible with the styling, fit, lighting, etc in all their shots...it's almost like they try to make the clothes look as bad as possible and then add to that the most cryptic descriptions - all to make it more all the more difficult for us to try and decide if we actually want to purchase something. I think it's like a sport to them.
