A bit of a Northwest Coast Art influence to this collection. Black and red are the primary colours in Northwest Coast Art too.

That jacket in particular, I'm wondering if there's a story behind the creation of the art, e.g. some sort of collaboration. If it just "looks striking" then I worry it's appropriative.

I just want to throw this question out there. Everyone has a personal taste -- so which EG Fall/Winter collection is your favourite? It's not a trick question so let's hear it! :)

As much as I enjoy the early previews, I always think EG looks so much better when each piece is individually shown with the details and close up photos.

FW11 and FW07 are both amazing IMO. The great thing about EG is Daiki designs such a wide range of garments that fit anyones wardrobe. There's stuff for the utilitarian, detailed obsessed guy and then also stuff for the dapper gents... and with that said, everything can sort of be worn together and look good. I think the look-books are obviously over the top, because most of us aren't going to wear EG head to toe, but it does give you some inspiration for how to wear it, and its always styled really well. My favorite EG look of all the books, I just wish I could find the photographers vest in the OD in an XL.

Favorite is probably fall winter 2008. Had some of my favorite plaids and I THINK was the first time they used a knit for the Bedford.

Loved that vest myself! I definitely loved FW11 and FW06 personally. Pity I missed out on so much of it. Having said that -- my favourite is actually FW12. The fundementals of that collection were intact with FW06 and '11. Look book sadly didnt do it justice. Felt like it favoured the dapper audience a little bit more. The pics below were my favourites.

FW08 hands down, I loved the colors and texture. The few pieces I have are still going strong.

Perhaps this is an ignorant question:
Where does one get an Engineered Garments lookbook in print?

FW11 for sure. Such amazing patterns and colors. Lookbook and TBS styling was what did it for me.

^ Agreed. Kudos to the TBS guys for knowing how to style EG correctly. Those grey tweed Junya pants above work so well with the EG pieces.

As for Context, I prefer to not say anything about them in regards to EG styling/fits.
