Engineered Garments Fall / Winter 2013 - Page 19

Thanks Timpo.

Very excited about those Liners, just as I thought they're reversible, perfect! Seems great as layering for some extra patterns and colors and for warmth too. Anyone have any more info on them? Material? Price?

On my wish list:
• Andover grey polka dot
• That reversible blue/floral print coat. Anyone got more info on that? If it's warm I'm probably gonna go for that as my main winter jacket as I need a new one (my thick FW11 wool EG Duffle coat got stolen frown.gif)
• Maybe one of the Brooklines.
• USN Pants, grey or olive. Definately need one of those. Got the SS13 USN pants and I don't think I ever had a pair of pants that fit that well.
• Reversible Liners
• Work shirt

I gave in and bought the red wool CPO at Drinkwater's. It was just too amazing, the color is perfect.

Thoughts on other pieces:

- I like the navy uniform serge wool a lot more than I expected. It is relatively thin and lined only in the arms. Very easy to wear, 3 seasons + indoors for sure. Honestly it is probably my favorite Bedford.

- The navy oxford workshirt is truly heathered and has a lot of grey-speckled color depth. Looks better than in pictures IMO.

- Same with the olive USN cavalry twill. It flexes between brown and green-grey depending on lighting. Really cool color.

- The mainline reversed sateen pants are essentially the same fabric as the Workadays, but the fit is more traditional. I don't think I would call them "slim," I was still pretty comfortable in the thigh and that is often a problem for me. I love the Workaday fit but this is a good opportunity to get something different. The zipper pocket is not that noticeable.

This season is too good, really flipping out over it.

thanks for sharing your thoughts! That description of the fatigues is sounding really nice...I don't want slim, just slimmer than the Workadays. I really hope I get a chance to see the navy oxford workshirt in person...that is one where I think I need to feel and see the fabric to decide. And nice pickup on the red CPO...that is a nice piece and you're right, the color is perfect.

Working on the imgur album now of the sale items, which includes random pieces going back quite a few years. When it's ready I'll post a single link to it. Thanks for being patient, everyone!

We always have a decent stock position on Chambray Work Shirts. Every once in awhile we take a breather on them but for sure, it's my favorite

So are you saying you have back season chambrays? Hmmm...wonder what I'm missing...I think I have a gap at SS11. Ha wink.gif

I just want them to do another red chambray...would kill for a red chambray!!!

Yea Gary,

If you've got FW10 chambrays around, that's my favorite. Let me know what you've got in XL, I may pick another blue one up just because.

Agreed. I certainly think the mismatch slip-on is easier than the slip-on/lace-up. Even in the current mindset & fashion outlook, one will still get unusual look from the public.

Also want to thank Timpo for taking the time to gather and post these pics for us all to drool over...always look forward to these photo dumps each season, really the only way I get a good idea of all that is available.

Give them a ring. They frequently have tricker's makeups in stock. You can expect to pay $6-700 for them.

Wow was expecting to pay around $4-500. Didn't expect that much. That's essentially cordovan prices. Nonetheless I need those in my life and they would go with everything in my wardrobe.

I really like the new Upland vest design too, I keep waiting for the photographer vest to be reintroduced, but I just dont know if it's going to happen.

Size 36 Ghurka's in khaki twill for a really good price here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-Engineered-Garnments-Khaki-Cotton-Cargo-Pants-36-/190849836084?pt=US_CSA_MC_Pants&hash=item2c6f896434
