Engineered Garments Fall / Winter 2013 - Page 81

I had posted a picture of them in the olive reverse sateen:

The fit's great, not too slim pretty TTS. I'm wearing a size 30, could have probably gotten away w a 32 as well for a little more relaxed fit.

I'm assuming it exists because there are duplicate items in these two fabrics elsewhere in the collection. Am I crazy?

Don't know if you found it already but stumbled on a pic and remembered your post

Cheers guys. I'm not in the US so don't really want to call if I can avoid it. FGC don't have the item on their website (so may have sold out) and Bodega only seem to have SS13 stock on their website (anyone know if they actually have any current season stock?). I've sent them a chaser email so we'll see if they get back to me.

Err... ?

EG 'Andford' jacket (ie. half Andover, half Bedford) exclusively for Loftman.  Different for sure.

They also have exclusive Chesterfields

Err..is right. A fine concept to put up on the wall as a piece perhaps but what is the context of you wearing this out and about? You could walk around the store and since everyone understood the garment they might appreciate it. Step outside and you look like a chump or just someone with a really awful taste. Then, I'm no fashion designer.

At worst this is helpful for all those "how does the Bedford fit vs the Andover?" questions!

The Chesterfields on the other hand. Legit

Haha yeah well loftman is based in Japan.  I'm sure no one is going to bat an eyelid in Shibuya or wherever.

Besides you'd have the starting point for an excellent halloween costume

can anyone comment whether it is worth getting the wool serge bedford? i already have the whipcord version from last a/w and can't decide whether to go for the wool serge and/or the 24oz melton wool version

Just received some olive lb pants from the bureau, and it looks like at one point they were meant to have drawstring hems.

(Pic for reference, not mine)

Pretty cool... I wonder why they didn't put a string in them.

Might do it myself if I can find a strap similar to the one in the waist.

A lot of EG pants come like this. I've had a few pairs of Desert Pants that also feature that cool little detail

That's awesome, I'll have to go check the rest of my eg pants.
^ mainline fatigues also have this detail.

^^ yep, also the USN pants.

if i have my history correct, USN pants actually used to come with a drawstring in the ankle.
