For those in SF, MAC's first delivery landed...

I didn't get a chance to take full stock, as I was on my way to work, but they had the Salmon People Peacoat in red ($998), those corduroy Long Beach pants, Matt pants in olive and navy I think, a handful of shirts (the grey floral and corduroy polka dots), and a piece that I don't know the name of... A heavy red wool hunting style jacket (think Elmer Fudd/vintage Woolrich) with front patch pockets. Really beautiful, though steep at $600+.

They also had a nice selection of FWK, including the piece visible in Shingles' pics from Nepethenes. It's a long overshirt type thing with a zipper up the front... nice heavy cotton flannel. Cool piece.

The work jacket?

I think you're talking about the Bush shirt? That's available for men as well. I'm trying to decide if its worth the ~$300 considering I'd probably only wear it a few times a season... I think it might be a bit too feminine as well..

TWorksheets-

you nailed it on both accounts. That work jacket is pretty incredible in person. Very substantial, and aesthetically it's a nice of example of something being "heritage style" without being fetishistic about it.

The bush shirt was really cool, though definitely needs the right person to pull it off. I mean, it almost reminded me of an old school nightgown. I'm having a hard time imagining a successful fit for men, though I'd love to see one.

Reversible Brookline Jacket - Black
USN Pants - Dark Navy Cavalry Twill

Button Shawl - Dark Navy 12oz All Wool Flannel
Bedford Jacket - Grey Wool Herringbone
USN Pants - Dark Navy Cavalry Twill

I folded the shawl in the neck to make it look like a hood, only the two top buttons are buttoned, that's probably how i'm gonna wear it, that and backwards.

Probably also picking up the Andover in grey wool polka dot print to wear with all the above black and white stuff.

As for the shawls, I think the standard Button Shawls are a perfect size, the Over Shawls are much larger and heavier, also much longer in the back (worn forwards), too big for me I think.
S fit me well in all the shirts this season but I had to pick a medium in the Tab Collar. The S was too short in the sleeves and too tight in the body for me. It may be worth to keep that in mind if you're about to place an order online. Also, the Matt pants are fcking killer.

Nice work mate! Have fun with those - quite exciting. The staff over at Nepenthes are awesome aren't they? Was Daiki there as he usually likes to help out?

If you get time please do post a look picture of the classic shirt. How heavy is it? Is there room to throw a chambray work shirt underneath? TIA

I've copped me the shawl collar knit jacket in black sweater knit, the Irving pant in mixed multi colour plaid, the long sleeve polo shirt in black jersey, on top of other items I've mentioned throughout this thread. Mind you our winter is fading... fast.

Domo arigato! I literally walked past MAC today and thought "I wonder if they got the new stuff in? naaa" and kept going. Definitely about to make a Saturday visit over there to check out the Salmon People in real life (steep price, though -- and SF tax will kill me but tempted, nevertheless).

@Shingles - great pics! That's a major purchase but I'm jealous! Would you mind posting a picture of the BDU vest? I'm always interested in seeing that stuff in action.

Good score shingles, congrats.
Interested in more details on that c/d liner, if you have the chance

Always like to see FW10 WWM stuff. I just picked up a backup Mountain Parka off Yoox for under $100 bucks...

^um...really? Why so cheap? Seems like any pant and jacket combo is worth at least 3x that. What's p2p on that jacket? Probably too small for me.

Shingles, how is the sizing on the USN pant? They look fantastic.

I did not know the USN pants is so slim.

Thanks. They fit true to the waist and very good in the butt and throughout the legs. Loose but not baggy but still narrower than the fatigues. I'd say choose your normal size. The fit of these pants is so cool/perfect I'm overwhelmed, the photos I uploaded doesn't do them justice. I've honestly never had a pair of pants that fit this cool, same with SS13 USN Pants.
The fabric is thick and a bit stiff but will probably soften up with wear. It definitely feels strong, like they will last for a long time.
Dino19> They're actually not that slim, it's a straight leg. I've folded the cuffs an inch horizontally and then fold it two or three times upwards as usual, so that the cuffs got a little narrower than usual.

Shingles- Great fits. You should cross-post in the "How you Roll in EG" thread. Also would love to see a fit with the C/D Liner- although I'd imagine the weather needs to get a bit colder for that.

Good score shingles, congrats.

Thank you. More images will come, I will need some time though.
It's 100% Polyester. Got 6 black snap on front buttons. 2 front pockets, and a third pocket located on the back right next to the right side pocket, just as on the Brookline jackets. Cuffs are elasticated, the hem is not. It doesn't really have a collar (or I can't remember what they're called). It's surprisingly big and boxy in the back, something I didn't expect and also find kind of unnecessary because at least for me, this is solely a layering piece to add to some extra warmth and pattern.
Thickness? I don't know what to say or compare with really, "medium" maybe. It will add some extra warmth for sure.

Awesome, Shingles. Great fit pics. I also agree the USN pants look great on you. What size did you try on and how was overall fit?

The shawl is also a fantastic fit. Well done on that acquisition.

I would however, like to know your height/weight/sizing details if possible, to better understand dimensions relatively.

Which olive Matt pants did you acquire, reversed sateen or coated heavy twill? How about sizing?

And finally, did you get a discount considering quantity purchased?

I went true to size, I'm a 30 waist and both USN and Matt 30" were perfect. The overall fit of the USNs is just ace. I might be hyping them but they sit really cool in the back/butt, the long zipper makes for a great relaxed look and then there's the detailed stitching and alot of other details like the hidden inner pocket, one buttoned back pocket, waist adjusters and holes in the cuffs for drawstrings. Read above for more info on the USN pants.^

Of course mate, here they are:
Length: 5'9" / 175 cm
Weight: 161 lb. / 73 kg
Chest: 41.3" / 105 cm
Pit to pit: 20.66"
Shoulders: ca. 18-18.5"
Since I took these measurements I've lost about 3 kg in weight and probably 1-2 cm in the chest.

I went with the coated heavy twill Matt pants. It's a really deep and fine olive color. The fabric is hefty, thick and warm. You get a sense of quality when you handle them.
Same sizing as with the USNs just that they're slimmer in the legs and butt. Waist was good too, a little tighter than the USNs but that's probably because of their overall slimmer design.

I didn't get a discount but I got 2 gifts. One large bag in natural color with two smaller handles and two larger, with Nepenthes New York printed on the side. And one EG totebag of my choice between 4 or 5 different colors.

Thanks for posting those pics - very helpful Shingles. I think the Brookline looks extremely good on you.

What shoes are you wearing? Alden LWB?

Ordered a ton of stuff from Gary (Such a nice guy), including the Herringbone Bedford. Will snap some pics once it arrives. It is unlined and appears darker, more charcoal than previous seasons. More when I get it.

Mike

Thank you Mike! No problem. Yes you are right, Alden Cordovan LWB.
I'd love some fit pics too when you get your Bedford, hope you'll be satisfied with it.

I didn't see any long sleeve pop overs. Yes I like it alot too, both the Liner floral pattern and the Tab Collar floral pattern. My f/w wardrobe will consist of alot of black, white, grey and dark navy this year, should be fun!

They are! The staff were great. Leo and Haku were very kind and helped me alot. Daiki was never there but Angelo and the black guy that's usually in the photo shoots, can't remember his name though.
I'll get a photo up soon enough. It goes well with the olive heavy twill matt pants by the way. It's not very heavy, I wouldn't know about wearing it on top of a work shirt. I could always try that tomorrow and let you know. It's much shorter in length though, and it doesn't have the high vents that are on the work shirts.

I can do that! It's got two large pockets on the front probably from pants originally, with one hole in each pocket where you can pull through long strings/ribbons that's located in the pockets. Odd seams and other details pretty much everywhere. It's such a strange piece ha ha ha.

When it comes to EG, I'm still a relative n00bzor. As such, I don't know the proper name for these pants, but we just got them in.

They are a denim fatigue pant with an extremely high rise and a pretty drastic taper. They look awesome, just not on me (I'm 5'8").
