The Naesby style, is it real or faux monkstrap?

The pictures that I've seen indicate that Naseby is a double monkstrap: I have no idea about this particular seller, but her lack of feedback makes me uneasy, as does the bad digital photography that doesn't appear to match what I know about the Naseby: her pictures look more like the Jermyn II to me than anything else.

Yeah, I did look into that Japanese website when I was googling, but they don't seem to be the same shoes. Notice that the curving of the monk straps is different from the one in ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....y=53121

Like I said, the picture on the eBay auctions looks more like the Jermyn II than the Naseby. I can't find a picture of the Jermyn II online just now, but it's very similar to Edward Green's Stowe model: It's hard to tell, though, because the quality of the photography is so poor. I certainly don't see double buckles, though, and that's what Naseby has. For all I know, this seller is the best that eBay has ever seen. However, there are some things about her auctions that concern me, and the pictures are among them.

Oh, yes. Stowe is one of the most beautiful and most distinctive shoe designs that I've ever seen. I have very little resistance where it and Lobb's Jermyn II knockoff are concerned.

I'd have to say that the Jermyn II is about the only shoe where Lobb did Edward Green one better. As incredible as the Stowe is, IMO the Jermyn is better..

To offer a "Buy It Now" option, a seller has to have either at least 10 feedback ratings or has to go through an ID verification process. This seller hasn't done either.

So did anyone try to contact the seller and get a reply? Any comment that you might be willing to share?
