Mens footwear for touring the mediteranian islands

I will be traveling throughout greece, turkey and Italy this summer and will be going from mountainous regions with history and rough walking trails to the city as well as small towns and resorts in between. I am a rather conservative traveler and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for shoes that would work in both those mountainous regions as well as just walking around town? I will obviously be bringing nicer dress shoes as well as sandals for the beaches but I was hoping for something that would work for everything in between, as I don't have anything that would work for that. Price isn't really an object however I don't want to spend more than a couple hundred. I'm looking for shoes that work well with light colored jeans, linen khakis as well as shorts. Nothing crazy but stylish and conservative is what I'm going for. Old man shoes are a no as are hipster, trendy styles. Hope somebody can help! Thanks in advance.

Dainite sole, perhaps. Maybe the Allen Edmonds Malvern, although more eyelets probably would be better for rigorous activities.
