value of vintage stuff is difficult. depends on condition, market youre trying to sell on, and still, often enough i see identical items offered the same way where one item go high and the other stay low.

There is really nothing to say about it. Rough estimation on yours which seem to be ok as far as i can see on these few pictures would be around 35 - 80 $

, welcome. yours are Cats 1000 with standard G15 lenses. Cats 1000 have Ray Ban on the outside of the temples. All nylon frames of BL are made in France (from the same factory as Bollé)

Replacing the lenses might be diffucult as youll need to find a pair. Or either you put Luxottica lenses in them (which would be a pity)

enjoy

Would you have any idea as to how much they would go for in current condition? Without replacing lenses in them. Seems like a double edged sword there, replacement lenses!

I am a long time collector of Ray ban and other premium sunglasses. Is there a venue online for buying/selling/trading good glasses, beyond eBay?

Hello Ray ban expert. I have a pair of mid 80s Bausch & Lomb wayfarers I bought in college. Of course I sat on them enough times that both arms flop around north and south i.e. up-and-down. It looks like the rivets are broken. Is there anyone that sells he's rivets that I can have a jeweler then reinstall on my original arms and lens frame?

My rough guess would be the costs will be significantly lower if you just replace them with another pair....

@Musehead. Thanks for your information above. I just found a pair of Ray Bans at a thrift shop which I believe could be authentic. They tried to charge me 50 cents for them but paid a bit more siting the fact that I thought they were worth more than that. Markings on them are: Right arm " B&L RAY-BAN U.S.A."; Left arm " WAYFARER "; Left at ear tip " L2009 UTAS "; "Inside above right lens " B&L 5024". Do you believe these markings are consistent with authentic Wayfarers? TIA
