Vintage Ray Ban Expert - Page 131

Hello!

I just want to ask, I have 2 wayfarer IIs and then I noticed that their inscriptions inside the frames are not identical. Is that normal?

Agrolingua...If those are ray ban, they are luxottica ray ban...and lenses would be readily available...but I don't think they are...are the only markings "hand polished China"?

Crashcourse...I don't see anything wrong here...but can't really make out the inscriptions to see how they differ.
Since they are different color frames they would have different model #s

Yes. The only markings are "Hand polished China".

someone should start an open source illustrated catalog of known B&L models and variations.

can anyone please tell me if the modern luxottica lens (the ones for 3025) fit in ''standard'' B&L aviators?

I'd really love to wear a vintage frame with the new flash lens.

Yes the will fit. Luxottica toke over the models and basically did not change a lot. What was changed is for the wprse imo. Mainly the welding became more ugly.

Id say the bl mirrored lenses are what more cool 😎
