No, I'm afraid not. I replaced the lenses with some very expensive Rodenstock prescription lenses (obviously, I still have the original ones), and had to re-gild parts of the frame.Hi are these for sale
Are these for sale still?I would really love some help identifying these glasses that were handed down to me from my grandfather. He was in the Navy and part of Operation Deep Freeze. I believe these to be 1958 model glasses given to him during the expedition. Any info would help! Email me at [email protected] for more info!
Hi musehead. I have a pair of Ray Ban lenses made by Bausch and Lomb that were in a pair of Ray Ban Daddy-O sunglasses. The lenses broke but I saved the lenses and have held onto them all this time. They have a P on them next to the Ray Ban logo. BUT… the P isn’t a normal P. It had 3 lines through it. Also the lenses have a very vibrant look through them as well as a yellowish tent through them also. Do you have any knowledge or explanation as to what the special P means and what type of lenses they are. I almost thought they could have been an early version or special color blind type Lense or something. I am red green color blind I found out when I enlisted in the army. When I put the lenses on they seem to make the colors more vibrant and easier differentiated. Or is it just a coincidence.I am a self proclaimed expert on Bausch and Lomb aka Vintage Ray Bans. I have a degree in Vintage Ray Ban Eyewear, if you need help or have a question this is the place to get answers. I also buy them if you have a pair or more you want to sell. Cheers.
#5 I would like to buy for parts. Is that available?Hey everyone, so I’ve been building up quite a stash of old glasses and am looking for help ID’ing/dating some of these. I figured I could find a military uniform site with this info but no dice so far.

1) outdoorsman in black? (Possible to find a new plastic brow bar and some of those yellow replacement lenses?)
2) stamped P 1/10 12k GF . The only other marking I could find just says GF. Interesting indentation/ridges at the top of the frame -not sure if it’s by design or they got crushed View attachment 2157589
