There have been a series of coincidental circumstance which have not only encouraged me to participate in tomorrow's exercise, but may prove to push me over the edge, going from P cawk to farkakt* in short order. Be afraid, be very afraid . . .

*Note - Ask Stitchy for the definition of "farkakt".

Looking forward to competing against you, I have planned something rather peacockish as well! May the best peacock win.

P.S. UrbanDictonionary is always a valuable resource for people like myself who cannot wait for Stichy's reply: "Based on the Yiddish word verkakte. It can mean dirty, ******, full of crap, or screwed-up." It's funny that verkakt is an actual Dutch word, which is derived from "kak", which means ****, and is a common swearword. I wonder whether the word was originated in Dutch or in Yiddish, but I'm guessing it's the latter?

I like the substitution, T, well done. If I had an odd accessory I would join in, but I will enjoy as a spectator in any case.

You don't have any odd hats, shades, pins, shoes, tie clips, cufflinks, monocles, gold grills, ?
Rummage thru that closet. There is bound to be something.
I refuse to believe you went to Pitti and didn't stumble over some sort of oddity. I mean how many US Veterans can say they went to Vietnam shacked with the local prostitutes and didn't bring back some kind of STD?

yiddish is kinda of a melting pot of many different languages, so its not surprise that the yiddish word is a variation of another of multiple possibilities for origin.

your hair might count as a accessory. also, you work in DC, just walk outside to a corner im sure someone is giving out pins for something or another.

Early entry from today (if this is permitted; I leave it to T to decide), as the forecast is not great for tomorrow and I don't really wear tropical/bright colours if it's not at least somewhat sunny outside. I might still be able to work out a fit for the challenge tomorrow anyway - in which case, obviously today's pic won't count - but otherwise I'll use this one:

Good god man, if that's somber, I better wear sunglasses before browsing this thread tomorrow.
