Maybe for their obsceneness and provenience...? The gold we wear could have immense histories- it could have been consecutively in an Egyptian tomb, around a monarch's neck and a Nazi stronghold...

My jeweller just sent me a digital mock-up of the cufflinks he'll be making me.

Question: Should I have the cufflinks crafted in this blend of gold and silver colour, or would it look better if it's entirely in gold?

I think entirely in silver would look best. Entirely in gold is better than the blend though IMO

Received these two pictures in the mail. They'll make it up in wax, and then cast it. When I first saw it in my mail I thought they had made the cufflinks entirely out of jade.
