Fratelli Rossetti Shoe Sizing

I was wondering if you gentlemen could provide me with a definitive answer regarding the sizing of Fratelli Rossetti shoes. I'm looking to pull the trigger on a pair of double monk straps, but unfortunately the store where I'm purchasing them from have a "all sales are final" on international orders, therefore I won't be able to return them if they don't happen to fit.

I was wondering whether they fit true to size or run 1/2 to 1 size larger than tagged. My foot is of average width and measures 11 inches from heel to big toe and I wear a size UK 9 in a Trickers Henry Chelsea boot. Therefore I was wondering if a UK 9 in FR would be sufficient.

Any help would be appreciated!

Where in doubt, don't.

I have only a pair of Rossetti, bought a life ago, they are 7.5, I usually wear UK 8G / 8.5F in english brands, If this could help.

Sizing is a bit of a mystery but I find they run 1/2 to 1 full size large, based on 3 pairs. Nice shoes, but hard to predict fit as a result.

I have a pair(maybe two) but they were purchased quite some time ago.
I do not think they run large but I am not going to risk your money with that assessment.
In fact, I have other RTW that fit larger but some the same. No Trickers, however.
No store near you has FR to test?

I've owned 2 pairs in the past but I've now sold both of them. One plain toe single monk seemed about 1/2 a size too large, the other brogued monk was pretty TTS, but a bit wide. Their sizing seems to be somewhat of a guess without trying them on.

I have only 1 pair at this time; a pebbled single monk split toe in golden brown. Can't remember the sizing off the top of my head but if I can motivate myself, I'll check..

I know this thread is an old one but if anyone is interested in Fratelli Rossetti, check out Sky Valet in Washington, DC. You can order through the web site (free shipping) and return them (if still unworn condition) for a refund if not satisfied. Hetom, the owner, is extremely helpful with sizing and can be reached by phone or email.

Of course, if you live in the DC area, you can always try them on in person :-)

I'm normally not keen on monk straps but for these I make an exception:
