how does this fit?

Thread Starter

Im usually a 38 I thought.. just tried a 36

the 36 feels tight on the shoulders and I feel like I cant hug myself/drive too comfortably.. is this normal? first time wearing a fitted suit

I was thinking about keeping the 36 for blazer with jeans and the 38 with a suit since it feels more relaxed... what do you guys think? /thanks

36

If you are near a major USA city, then I suggest you wear it to Nordstroms and ask for their opinion on the size and the fit.  They won't try to high pressure you into buying (that is not their style).  They are a great resource.

Or, take some photos and privately email them.

38 fits better but both jackets are awfully short. Stay away.

Meh. I've seen much shorter.  I think it looks fine. He's a young guy, there's nothing wrong with him dressing like it.

Dressing like a younger guy doesn't mean dressing like a herpster.  For that, go to Reddit/SuFu, buy 4 sizes down, and stop asking for advices.

How can you possible offer accurate advice to the author of this thread when you know very little about his measurements?  (Pictures don't cut it).  Do you really believe anyone would take it seriously on the internet without knowing the facts.

As for being a troll, perhaps first look in the mirror of your own glow.

My very best to you this evening.

That's what I meant, I don't think he looks like one.  That jacket comes down an inch past his wrist and it looks like it covers at least 90% of his backside (I think those pants are sagging a bit).

The fit in the shoulders looks okay. Both show just one major, fatal flaw - length.
