[Gift] Necktie for Asian Dad in 50s - Page 2

^I disagree.

The only times I have ever seen grenadines in Seoul have been on myself and a few people I've encouraged to buy them, so I doubt it'll be considered boring. His dad probably wouldn't wear anything too loud given, in all likelihood, a conservative work environment.

The color is a bit muted, but the texture of a fina grenadine definitely makes up for that.

It's a very wearable and elegant tie that will fit better than most, if not all, the ties his dad currently has.

Bad choice.

Ridiculous, it's a great choice. Don't be an idiot.

It is a great choice in your perspective. Not necessary for the receiver.

Dice has been tossed. We shall see! If he doesn't love it but only kind of likes it, then I may keep it for myself...!

And as for the color choice, he pretty much ONLY wears shades of blue, so I figured I will take one step at a time by going with a different material but similar conservative color.

Once he handles the tie, there will be no going back for him. Are you having it shipped directly to Seoul or to yourself?

I'm getting it shipped to me. I won't leave until end of June, so I'm hoping that it will arrive on time.

It should, but you might mention it to David Hober. I'm just glad you're delivering it in person; once you handle it, you are going to want one of your own.

Does your dad, as many 아저씨들 do, tie a full windsor? Grenadines are generally too thick for anything weightier that a four in hand.

I think he does four in hand. I just emailed David Hober about the circumstance. I'm excited!

Brooks brothers,

aren't they around 1/3 of Hermes ties? Plenty of options too.

That or go to POLO outlet and get something
