I would like to know the take on wearing sneakers with a suit. Here is a photo of a sneaker I would like to wear with a gray suit.

No. Sneakers with a suit is a "if you have to ask, don't" look

This is a classic menswear forum. The suit with sneakers look is more of an edgy type of style, that most people here, including myself, are not fans of. But if you really do like the look, then keep the suit and sneakers simple. No stripes or patterns for the suit, and the sneakers should be low rise, one colour. A video for more pointers.

At least it wasn't "I want to wear Chuck Taylors with my suit at my wedding."

I wore converse all stars with a short black suit ala the Jam when I was 19. If your out of your teens I don't think you can do it.

It's not a look that I'd use, but it doesn't always look bad. I think that the t-shirt with suit (or orphan jacket and jeans) and gym shoes look is ugly, but a suit with layers and gym shoes sometimes looks alright. A more upbeat (but not crazy) shirt color/pattern can help too. Realize that most people's first reaction will be mixed at best.

You are in good company.
Two giants of AmericanCulture, the late author William Bourroughs, and the stlll alive at 98,
Professor Irwin Corey, often favored athletic footwear with formal dress

To the OP: if those two links dont put you off then nothing will.

The only sneakers which looked reasonable with a suit were the Adidas Official shoes, which are no longer made.

I remember seeing someone a while back wearing an ill-fitting black suit, a black tie with huge orange flames on it and white sneakers....

It's not a good look.
