Are 3-Piece Business Suits back in fashion for 2013?

If some folks in the USA don't think so, perhaps other buyers may wish to consider the USA typically follows the lead and does not create the new fashion. This might explain why many forum members have spoken up about why they enjoy a 3-piece business suit and how positive the compliments have been among colleagues.

There is an excellent news article just released this week on April 17th in the leading Boston Globe about do-it-yourself business suits (bespoke suits) - and how USA and Canadian "internet shops and small stores) are providing very high quality suits in the $450 to $600 range - which would sell for $1200 to $2000 in stores.

As I roamed the links in the news article, I am impressed with the 2013 reassurance of the 3-piece business suit with vests in the 5 to 7 button range.

I also noticed that many of the poly suits on leading consumer sites selling for $99 are now 3-piece.

On the high end (such as the Super 120 Australian Merino wool suits) - which reports the wool to be best source in the world from the "down-under countries" - instead of the typical Asian sources - I found many of the following samples to get excited about:

Let me know what your thought are. It looks like I will be leaning toward this for 2013.

All my best,

David

They've been "fashionable" for years, after that came DBs. 3 button is looking rather directional now I think.

I don't believe they were ever unfashionable. Just maybe not as popular as a 2 piece.

Most of my suits are now 3-piece. I wore one 3 times last week , IIRC.
