Sounds like the engineered knits. The handknits are still made in Canada.

Yup this is a crewneck from F/W 2012 that I got on sale.

It's a nice sweater but seeing that MiC tag was a disappointment.

It looks like all of their 'regular' knits are sourced from chinese or indian factories, along with their accessories like scarves, beanies and gloves.

Ehh so what? I have a cashwool sweater from this season - made in China - and the quality is right on par with all my made in Canada W+H stuff. Doesn't bother me to be honest - there's a reason why those are made in China and not Canada.

anyone else having this issue with w+h hoodies especially when unzipped?

quick doodle lmao. I guess if you have had the issue the picture would make sense. basically the hoodie sags down on the sides/rides up in the middle. its fine when zipped but unzipped it looks pretty weird and its actually caused me to not wear it much at all.

you can kind of see it happening here but all the fit pics online it lies flat horizontally but on me it still tilts up in the middle unzipped

I guess its just the fabric stretching but in the middle it keeps because of the zipper. still irks me how odd it looks unzipped.

I just prefer to buy ethically made goods. It's more of a moral issue for me than a quality one. Just a personal choice, that's all.

and wtf @ that hoodie lol. Could you take a pic of it on you unzipped, wizzeak? I'm tempted to email W+H just to see what the hell they'll respond with lol

How are people sizing the fishtail parka?  I looked over it at the beginning of the season but the tartan print is starting to grow on me.  Not completely sold on the raglan shoulders and how they might fit though.  I'm 5'10" 175ish and not sure to go for an M or L. I'm thinking M because of lengths but not sure

I have pretty much the same measurements and I went with an M. It errs towards the snug, but the L was flat out too big.

One of my best buys this season. Fantastic piece.

if you're a L nomad has the mac coat in tartan for 382 and if you're an XS they have the tartan varisty for 352, I picked up the small

edit: waiting for the parka to go atleast 50% off before I buy it

bawlin can you layer under it at all?  I mean since it's basically just a shell/wind-stopper, seems sorta necessary.  I'm also a slim L in Uniqlo OCBDs...fuck yea enough random info the L will probably just be flat out too big for my frame

Huh...I just checked a cardigan I have from not too long ago (maybe F/W 12 - 13?), and it's MICanada rather than MIChina. Maybe this is a more recent change.

Yes I can. It's the p2p that is a little tight. The rest fits spot-on.

The large just felt like it had so much room in the back and it ballooned out way too much if that makes sense.

edit: that $380 mac is really tempting. would need about $80 in tailoring to make perfect but whateves. the leather rider is tempting too. does nomad ever go below 60%?

The most I've seen is 70%

the tartan piece is hot. It's eluded in SF from what the shops told me where Maas and Stacks sold out of the only medium.

I'm a similar size and all of my WH works perfect in Medium. I actually of the Black Tartan in transit from the WH online store 30% off for Boxing Week. Roden Gray had it for 50% but sold out hella quick.

Finally got the tweed bush pants, definitely one of my favorite pieces for this season.

Also, surprisingly the black 5-pocket denim fits my "larger" thighs really good and feels super comfortable with the stretch fabric. I was debating these or another pair of westpoints in black, glad I picked these up instead.
