A few different reasons I guess. I broke my hip earlier in the year (cracked femur) and I've spent most of the last six months on crutches or cane. I just had a second surgery before Christmas so more of the same to come. As a result of such little activity and somewhat poor diet I gained about 15 pounds too which has caused a lot of my clothes to fit poorly. I just haven't felt inspired like I used to (physically or mentally) to do any fit pics. Plus many days I haven't been able to even properly dress myself without help from my wife (I got married in the middle of all of it). I've still been buying clothes but mostly boring stuff like gitman shirts, unis chinos, and w+h sweats. Lurking SF has gotten me through a lot of bed bound days though and I appreciate the site more than ever.

Heard the sweat pants (tiger fleece) didn't hold up well. Wonder how this year is, was looking at some RC since they look more durable

Never had W+H version before so we will see. I didn't wear sweatpants much until a few months ago once I transitioned to working at home. Only pair I've had past two years have been an Alexander Wang one which was pretty solid. Didn't want to spend more than $50 on sweats (last pair was $35) so when I saw these figured why not. Material doesn't feel special in any way though. I do like the RC ones more so might sell these and get those instead. Any other recs for sweats? No elastic hem at ankle if possible

Has anybody picked up the moleskin bush pants?

How do you feel about them?

I've only ever owned moleskin once before (RL 5-pockets) and they carried dirt and lint like crazy. I couldn't wear them without them looking like total shit cos everything just gravitated and stuck to them. With that said, I like the bush pants and I like the colourway of the moleskin versions.

I've had a couple of W+H moleskin pants in the past and I got rid of all them because like you said, they attract lint and look like garbage.

Aww nuts. Thanks though. You just saved me $140.

What is your waist size? I know the W+H store had some regular black bush pants on the floor (that were not released this season).

34. I'm about to order some stuff at Haven, was torn on the bush pants though.

Sorry to hear that. I always liked your fits and thought you did what I was trying to do better than me.

Sorry to hear that slack tide, I hope you get better!

On a side note, W+H cotton twill pants are garbage not in terms of fit or quality but because of the ridiculous amount of lint and dirt it attracts (washing does nothing) mainly due to the fabric nature of cotton twill.

Also, bawlin, I checked the leather rider instore and IMO, it's nothing special and certainly not at the joke retail price W+H tried to sell it at, hence not a single one got sold at retail price and little at 30-50% off. It's their first year doing a full leather jacket (correct me if I'm wrong) so I don't really blame them. I hope they get it right if they're doing it again in the future for the retail price they tried to charge for it. I was expecting more really for 1.3k.

Wow, sorry to hear it. Hope you bounce back soon.

IDK if you'd be up for it, but there's talk of a DC-area meet-up sometime in January. It's being organized by the CM crowd but should have representation from both sides of the forum.
