Their SS is usually pretty weak.

Actually, I'm curious if this noragi is a W+H piece:

I'll probably end up with the natural chinos and call it a season.

S/S is always really weak in my opinion.

I haven't bought anything in the years I've known about the brand.

I've grabbed a couple of the summer oxfords, but they're non-staple items are really weak for some reason. Winter brand.

A Canadian brand. Summer lasts for two months and is too hot for anything other than t-shirts.

Yep.

Cold here 6 months of the year, rains like 1.5 months, blazing heat for 3 months, decent fall weather (yay leather jackets) for like 1.5 months.

not sure how I feel about a wings horns noragi lol...

I'm more interested in the fall winter seasons. Their spring and summer has never had anything that stood out to me.

Mid-town chinos are on sale, anybody own/handled them?

^I tried the Midtowns on at the W+H retail space and they fit well in the same size as my West Points (both size 30). I see them as W+H's attempt to compete more with Unis, as the design and construction are very similar to the Gio, although I'd say the Gio's fabrics are nicer. The Midtowns do have other details going for them though - I really liked the buttons and the taping along the inseam.

Thanks! I've read some comments that they fit slightly slimmer than the Westpoints - is this true?

^They may. I have 3 pairs of Wespoints from FW'10, and they've relaxed quite a bit. I imagine these might fit slimmer off the rack, but since they're cotton pants, they'll stretch/relax.

WPC's are slimmer. Just look at the comparable measurements.

anyone have the quilted shirt? how warm is it, and is the fit good?
