Not my photo, I asked a question that got answered so I edited the post with that photo from WH.

Those are the Wings+Horns Charcoal Tweed Bush Pant

looking for a more or less basic dark grey top coat and liking the melton wool mac coat but not at close to $1k

any recs for something similar (single breasted dark grey pea/top coat, more or less basic with slight, interesting details) or any vendors carrying this on sale in size L (assuming this runs true to the rest of W+H sizing)?

Should've gotten the polo coat by LBM from NMWA.

This may be slightly heretical, but in my search for a similar Mac Coat, I found the top coats at Club Monaco to be fairly decent:

http://www.clubmonaco.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=23422856&cp=12266410.12280843.24767106&ab=ln_men_thelatest_outerwearshop

It's 80/20 wool/nylon, and not as thick as the W+H offerings, but it's more tailored at the waist and the fabric is quite nice -- soft and smooth, but not thin. I was pretty impressed when I saw it in the store, and they had it in camel and black. It's probably not worth full price, but maybe something to keep an eye on during end-of-season sales. The placket is a bit weird, though.

Other than that, I'd like to know what other options there are as well. I've been eyeing the Stephan Schneider wool coats, but they're not as thick. They look and fit great, though...

Before I decided to go with the W+H mac coat I was considering this one from Soulland:

and the wool "bankers trench" from Han Kjobenhavn

Ordered a pair of fingerless gloves and beanie from Acrimony during their Black Friday sale.  They're thin.  Been wearing the gloves for about a week and they've already stretched out to the point where they are annoying to wear, and they've pilled up a shit ton.  Pretty frustrating seeing as I've been nothing but delicate with them and paid quite a bit even after the discount, for what are essentially simple basics.  Made in China too, coming from a brand that takes pride in its domestic production.  /rant

@Occult Yeah I really wanted that Soulland Boge too! The in Navy looked awesome, but it was sold out everywhere in my size, so I ended up getting the WH Parka for winter instead. Good luck on your search!

That's disappointing. I agree, I'm really surprised that they would allow this type of quality representing their brand. I'm surprised that these are made in china too.

I had initially though these fingerless gloves might be nice but luckily I decided to go the H&M route, 2-pack of fingerless gloves for $7...they haven't stretched out but there has been some pilling.

I was wondering if anyone could comment on the fit of the cotton wool denim 5 pocket pant. The measurements off of WH website seem to suggest sizing down one.

I know its probably been asked before but do thus season's Westpoints fit the same as last years?

depends on material. tweed seems a bit tighter, but i think it is because the material has less stretch/give

I'd say the opposite, I got 34's in the tweed westpoints and definitely should've gone 33's.

just looking at the standard cotton ones. Loved my FW 2011 ones, looking at that seasonal oxblood one from this year.
