Love those Roger!

Hi Roger,

How would you compare the G&G DM's to your Vass ones?

I had actually worn the Vass monks to the event.  Different feel to the shoes - the thick double-soles of G&G gave the shoe a much heavier, stouter feel than the Vass.  Not objectionably so in any way - but noticeably different.  And the K-last Vass were pointier / sleeker.  Really liked the light touch of brogueing on the G&G.  Both pairs are pretty darned nice.

Thanks for the report RogerP. Nice shoes indeed. I'm still undecided as to which direction to take regarding my first pair of double monks, so any feedback is appreciated.

^^ There's certainly no bad choice to be made between those two.

I was unaware this place existed! Here I am ordering everything from Leffot in NYC and having it shipped to me across the border in Niagara Falls!

I know you mentioned you would notify everyone of new shoemakers being added to the store, may I kindly request Alden. There are NO (that I know of) suppliers of Alden shoes in the country.

Looking forward to stopping by!

Hi TO Tie Guy,

We're glad you found us! With regards to additional shoemakers we will represent, we will be stocking John Lobb, George Cleverly and Corthay. We don't want to stock too many shoemakers because for the ones that we do, we want to show and have available as much as we possible can. For example, we have over 50 unique pairs of Saint Crispin's in our shop, far more than any other retailer we know of. This gives our client the best representation we can deliver on shoemakers we believe deserve this attention. Please come by our shop when you have a moment and it will be a pleasure to show you around!

Good to see you branching out into clothing. Do you have any plans to bring any other bespoke makers to your store? Mina Adamo/Napoli Su Misura perhaps?

Ambrosi is the first of exciting things we are introducing to Toronto, but we will let you know more when the time is right! Many events to look forward to!
