I'd appreciate any recommendations and reasons therefore for shirtmakers in Boston area.

One name I heard was Greg Chobanian. Anyone ever deal with him?

Thanks

do yourself a favor and skip Greg. He was having his shirts made by Arthur at BoLine 781-659-5980. Athur is in Norwell and makes a shirt equal to anybody in NYC.

i spoke with Greg today and he said he does everything himself: cutting, sewing etc. Was this just BS?

Do you know what fabrics Arthur uses and can you say anything further about his shirts? Thanks for the info.

Arthur at boline makes an excellent shirt.

I have never seen Grag's shirt, but I would stay away from him.
I have nothing nice to say about him.
I am not sure what sort of fabric he has since I do not know anyone who will sell him fabric.

I rarely say anything bad about felow shirtmakers.

Thanks Carl.

I respect your opinion (on shirts especially).

I'll visit Arthur and report back.

just to make the picture relevant ,Arthur made shirts for Tony for a couple of years in his shop. He now makes for him from his own shop. Tony had a gentleman named Carlos making for him before and the shirts were awful. I would need to now when the shirt was made. By the way Tony Ayala is a great local resource. He has made a ton of pants for me and makes a very nice jacket.
