Picked these up as a birthday gift to me, and sadly they are a 1/2 size too small for me.
Details: Size 9.5D on the Barrie Last, Color 8 Shell Cordovan
Condition: Worn 3 times, twice was for about an hour each, indoors on carpet following the Mac Method of breaking in the soles and making sure the fit is correct. At that time they seemed to fit perfectly. The 3rd and last time I wore them for about 6 hours commuting on the train to and from school. That's when I realized they were too snug for comfort after being actively walking around between classes, rather than standing around the house.
No scuffs, some slight creasing as seen in the pics. Definitely an eggplant color, not so dark it's black, but not so light it's burgundy. Inside stamping is still 100% there. The Horween Stamp on the sole is halfway faded.
Care: A few minutes in between wearings with a horsehair brush, stored with shoe trees (not included) and in my own dust bags.
Comes with: The boots only. J.Crew sent them in a plain brown box, no shoe bags, pamphlet, or the famous green box.
$400 plus shipping to the Continental 48 States. I will carefully wrap each boot and place them in a box with stuffing to prevent shifting and scratching. PayPal please!
Placed an order for the size 10D but those won't be shipping until Mid August (Hopefully Mickey is underpromising and will overdeliver!) I'll take the $100-150 hit, we've all been there to make sure we get the proper size on the last
