I'm really new to this whole classic menswear game, so my advice probably shouldn't carry much weight. I was planning to wear them with odd jackets and trousers, maybe with a navy suit in the winter in a less formal fit. I will also likely try them out with khakis to see how they go. I feel like it may work because they're suede.

But I would probably solicit opinions from people more knowledgeable than me.

Welcome.

Thank you guys, I just started writing and couldn't stop. And if I can help someone on the fence then I feel it worthwhile.

Thanks for doing this Justin! Just purchased the Fauntleroy (probably the last pair) and Marcos loafer for a buddy of mine.

Anyone who ordered from the sample sale get a shipping confirmation yet?

IIRC, Justin said he'd aim to ship all orders next week.

I'm not counting on a shipping confirmation until early next week, frankly. As long as I don't get a cancelation notice, I'm good.

It's my pleasure! Thanks for your support and I hope that you enjoy your shoes. And not to worry there will not be any "cancellations"....I was waiting for someone snatch those Fauntleroy's up! I am surprised that they stayed available for so long.

As indicated in the post, I will try to ship out all orders next week.

I managed to do some on Friday but you have to understand that we are a 2 man company with a part-timer and an intern and the intern and my business partner were both on holiday last week which meant I was left to do not only my job but that of my business partner as well.

I spent most of Friday organizing the +70 orders that I will have to fulfill next week, attributing names to shoes and thus ensuring an efficient week ahead.

When your package has been fulfilled you shall receive a tracking number.

Sincerely,

Justin

Ah, ok, I didn't see your post on here, I was alerted to the sale via Twitter. I'm not at all concerned about the wait, was more curious if anyone had received a shipping notice or cancellation. Can't wait to get my shoes. I saw your line at Leatherfoot in Toronto and am eager to try a pair for myself.

I was surprised the Fauntleroy's lasted that long as well! Even with the vast collection I have, the one thing I don't have is a single monk so I'm looking forward to these a lot! My buddy who ordered the Marcos originally wanted the Fauntleroy's and so did another one of my friends (if you find a 9UK and/or 11UK lying around, I'm your guy!).

Some great deals on the remaining sample sale shoes.  I wasn't lucky enough to match up my size with the styles I wanted, but so it goes.  Good fortune to those who can!
