Thanks Roger!! As per the MGF, well unfortunately nothing planned for A/W2014 but you never know, I tend to do things quite sporadically! But for S/S2015, I was hoping to get my Fremont model on that last as I prefer the derby with the chisel....Might also do the Magnolia on the MGF

Indeed. I'm not even that big a fan of double monks but these are a unique style that look pretty stylish

@RogerP how does the fit of your pair compare to say Carmina Rain?

Tony II in antiqued brown and patina!

Pretty close in fit, actually.  I'd say the JF have a slighter narrower heel cup and slightly more accommodating instep, with perhaps very marginally narrower toe box.

We are one step closer to our MTO service coming into effect. Going to the factory next week to finish up discussing all of the details involved in MTO and then hopefully will launch by September 1st.

Thank you @rc121 for making me realize that I needed to launch with a width service in place.

That being, here is a prototype of our Windermere model on a new sample last, the NGT, in black Freudenburg/Weinheimer box calf in a UK7D (narrow).

Hopefully this service will peak some of your guys' interest!

A good weekend to all!

Justin

Justin, will there be any rubber soles available for MTO?

Also, how do your lasts fit someone with a very low instep and flat feet?

Yes, we currently have two options of rubber sole. There will be other options available as well. This is what I am trying to lock down with the factory this upcoming week. What is available that I have yet to use, i.e. commando soles etc....looking at a Dainite Lite sole as well, like my country rubber sole but lighter in weight

Are you of medium width? If so, then you might want to stay away from the models with 6 eyelets, as their instep in inevitably higher. The instep overall is quite generous once the foot is in in reality, so it is hard to judge without really knowing your foot. I have quite a low instep and flat foot myself, but am also a narrow. That being, while my regular size would be UK7D, for standard fitting shoes, I usually bump down to a UK6.5E in order to get the fit of the instep and overall snugness that I like, to be right.

I hope that this has helped. General questions like this are not the easiest to answer as it really is a case by case, and not cannot really be given a definitive answer.

Hi Justin,
Congratulation on the MTO program. You used to have Laurelhurst offered in Merlot color, right? I got the black one for my father and looks great. I am thinking of getting one for myself and was wondering if the merlot might come back.
Thx
