That Delridge just caused me all kinds of problems! I was going to e-mail to ask about changing the Holman to just that type of configuration on the MTO plan but (my bank account) was kind of hoping it wasn't possible. Will that be a standard model now, or just available via MTO?

sorry about that ;-)

I cannot say for sure if I will add these to the A/W2017 line up to be honest. That depends on how many people start requesting them. It is a possibility but I won't think about the colorways until at least January

Definitely add to the lineup. I'm imagining a museum calf and scotch grain shaft combination. I'd bet if you did another preorder like the Genessee you'd sell at least 50 pairs.

First MTOs with Justin on their way across the pond...he was kind enough to send me preview pics.

I am not one to slag off another brand to make mine look better but I just realized that with the recent drop in the pound our shoes come to about $350-$360 (average price). That is about $40 less than Allen Edmonds and Paul Evans NY (and I will say proudly that our shoes are superior to both of them in all aspects), just to give you all a bit of perspective on how good it is for a US customer to be buying UK based shoes at the moment.

Food for thought.

Anyone used the new J. Fitzpatrick shoe trees with their Carmina Rain? If so did you use the same size?

Yes, same size for me. Worked pretty well!

Thank you, they work really well for my EB's too but I had to size down 1.

Would anyone happen to know how his shoes fit in comparison to Allen Edmonds, especially if you are an E width?

If you're a 10E in most AE lasts (including the 65), could you reasonably expect a UK9 to fit?

Justin would probably be able to give you more advice on this, but just for reference, I wear a US 8 D size in Allen Edmonds (not sure of the lasting but inside they say 1802 0001387?) and a UK size 6 E/US 7 D in Justin's shoes.

Justin''s fit my particular foot a bit better, but both are comfortable on me.

Thanks for the quick response. If you went down two sizes as a D in AE, that gives me some comfort that going down 1 size as an E would probably fit my foot.

I just really, really like the two tone stuff he is doing and the forest green calf/suede combo caught my eye. You don't get options like that or Alden or AE,

I'd suggest going down one size. From all I've read the 65 last is both very long and very narrow. If you take a wider width in that last, you probably have a "normal" foot, so 1 down from US should work out fine.
