Hi all - hopefully this is the right thread to ask about this (if not apologies) - but I was curious to know if anyone wears / is interested in wearing the "newsboy cap" during the summer months.  I am looking for a hat that has some sense of style (need to wear hat for UV protection).  Starting to do my diligence on Panama Hats / Fedoras, but came across this photo of Brady...

Any thoughts on this style?  Terrible idea?  Also, based on the shape of my head, I think this could look good on me.  Anyway, any thoughts / guidance if any would be much appreciated!

Not exactly classic menswear but this Papa Nui Atoll Defender cap is pretty cool for casual wear. Papa surfs the South Seas and from time to time makes up military inspired hats and accessories. Google him and you'll see some of his work and how to order. Or, Selfedge currently carries some of his caps as well.

Hi, I'm wondering exactly what type of hat this is:

I bought it in Machupicchu Pueblo, Peru, because my scalp was getting sunburned. It's made out of some sort of thatched material around what appears to be a felt base.

I can probably provide more information if needed. Thanks.

Essentially a homburg with a pinched crown. I'd love to acquire one of these.

The color is reminiscent of what members of the Capone Mob wore.
