I would go for a slightly less tight pinch but that's personal preference. Great looking hat. Is that dove felt?

Lovely hat, perfect. I`ve a feeling its a touch too big - if there is a wind would it fly off? It should fit snug, whereas the way it sits seems to suggest its got a little too much room. By fitting snug, it would get pulled down at the front, whereas I feel its sitting on free space. I may be wrong, and certainly its better a larger hat than a tighter fit, but sometimes that extra space especially in the top right and bottom left suggest its missing that perfect fit. Bit like trousers or shoes really, that extra half inch sometimes can make a difference. Hope I`m wrong and its easily corrected, but did want to give my constructive opinion. Enjoy

the hat actually fits perfectly. that openess you see may be an optical illusion from the angle. Art Fawcett custom sized it for me using his "conformer" contraption. it's snug but not too snug and there is little, if any, play.

I love the colors. I think it looks great on you. Great dents, is it a diamond bash on crown top? I am planning to commission one of similar color but a but larger proportions. Taller crown with no taper and 2 1/2 or 2 5/8 brim width. Seeing yours has hastened me to act.
