i personally have learned that I prefer to size down on my u-neck tees. I'm 6'4" 175 and wear a large villian hoody and medium u-necks. I think u should get small u necks. I know the mercer is meant for that symmetrical layered look with the villains but I don't really care I like the u necks with them too. I just think the fit of the unecks is so sick and unique. Mercers are nice but they don't do it for me like the uneck tees. I also think the mercers might fit slightly longer and slimmer by a hair. The comix blend is real cool too. Worth buying.

If anyone wants to trade me anything for my large grey kitos I'd like to size down to a medium or maybe get something else from JE. Perfect condition never washed.

The only problem that I face getting a small is my chest.  I am a bit muscular and do not like my shirts fitting tight across my chest.  I have a weird body at 5'3 150lbs. And of course there are no John Elliott retailers where I am so I don't have the ability to try stuff on first.

Very happy with the S/S hooded villains. I like how thin they are wishing I picked up the grey sweats, the navy is really nice as well but liking the grey with the burgundy more

Anybody notice the Lima shorts on the site is $112 now?  Previously they were $145 - wonder what the reason is for the price drop?  Sucks cause I paid full price $145 last month in advance of spring time...anybody got insight?

They are prob trying to clear stock. Both items are old and prob discontinued. I recommend the silk, good buy at that price.

So do you guys dry clean your silk blend shirts?

I would dry clean, or at the very least hand wash cold and lay to dry. I don't have the JE silk but I have an Alexander Wang silk and just a cold machine wash and hang dry messed it up a bit.

I'm finding it difficult to buy a shirt that would need to be dry cleaned every time it needs to be washed. Is it really worth it?

The material and the way it drapes is different than the other blends. It like them. I got 4 tees and a tank

I take them in as needed. I don't wear them daily or even weekly so not an issue for me. I have a big rotation of tees
