The only difference on the sizing chart seems to be .5" in the waist and .25" in the hem which shouldn't be an issue. I'm a little nervous because I own the Cast/Coast and Carbon in 29, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this 28 will work so I can stop trying to get this pair of jeans. Will report back when they come in!

I actually had the exact same issue with my sz 29 micas. About .5 in the waist and .25 in the hem.

So the 100% cottons fit a little looser?

I wouldn't say it fits more loose; it seems to have more give and stretches out with more ease?  Just my experience though.

Loopwheel if you're really going for material

Anyone interested in the shadow collection villain crew short sleeve in a medium. Too small for my liking and I just never got around to sending it back before the 30 days were up. Message me. Letting it go for retail.

If you like the fit of your M hoodies a L will fit that way.

An M will be better in the long run, L if you are going to wash it after every single wear and then some

I agree, if you compromise on sizing, you'll just end up regretting it later on. Might as well save your money for when the product restocks in M or find it at another stockist.
