The FW14 Dark Grey & Dark Grey Duo 2 sweats should be restocking any time now. If not tonight, tomorrow.

Sorry to sound like a broken record but i have escobars from 2 years ago. What is the difference of the new fit from my size small?

The current fit is exactly the same as the very first season we did Escobars (FW13). We didn't have Escobars available 2 years ago (we didn't have anything available)...but a year ago right now we would have been delivering the same fit as the current fit. For SS14, we opened up the fit a bit, and they fit almost a full size bigger. We found that customers liked the original fit better, so we changed it back and will continue with it for the future.

So, long story short, if your Escobars are from a year ago, the first season we released them, it won't be different besides the fact that the inseam is now flatlock stitched.

Ok then it must of been last year. It's the grey one with the black waist and ankle. Thanks for the quick response.

Has anybody picked up the Nep Grey Flannel Overshirt? I'm curious to see how it looks on someone besides the model. Really think it'd be a nice layering piece.

I'm sry to be annoying but my two escobars are the black quilted one and the grey quilted ones. Would the new ones fit like them or smaller? I have larges in both but would prefer them to be a bit slimmer. Will the navy be restocking?

Does anyone know which color villain this is? I thought it was the charcoal from the midnight collection, but I think its too light to be that one?

^thats definitely not the charcoal. looks to be the new dark gray

Hey, new poster here!

Although I've been a big supporter of JE for some time now I still haven't pulled the trigger on any of the selection of denim. It isn't because I'm unsure of the quality or anything, as I'm sure it's great. I'd say my concern is leaning more towards all of the fit pics I've come across online (and this forum, in particular) which paint the denim as being baggy/loose as opposed to the "slim tapered fit" the website hints at. The model on the website, however seems to pull off the denim quite well, though. Should I not pay any mind to these fit pics and just purchase a pair or is it true that the jeans are indeed baggy/loose? I mean, I don't mind a little bag/sag in the jeans but I still do like it to remain slim overall obviously.

As a reference I'm roughly 5'11" 140 pounds and normally wear a size 29-30 in pants/denim. Should I go down a size or two if I go with a pair from JE?

Thanks for any and all of the help.

New fits are slimmer. Navy was a midnight collection exclusive that will not be restocking

Welcome to the forum. Not sure how long yiu have been following JE for but the denim has gone from slim fit to slim taper recently. As mentioned in previous posts the best way to get an idea of what the denim will fit like is to take a pair you already own and use the sizing charts on the site to compare. I own a pair raw apc petit new standards in size 32 and a pair of raw JEs in 32. The JEs are not "baggy" but I have more room in the thigh area.

As far as sizing down on the denim, some people like to size down on the raw denims because they tend to stretch out with wear. Washed denim will only stretch out minimally. Hope this somewhat answered your question

Thanks so much for the prompt response. Apologies for my ignorance but what exactly is the difference between slim fit/slim taper? I would safely assume that the slim taper is... well.. slimmer than the previous fit of the denim?

I've also never really owned a pair of raw denim either, so that may be a little bit of a surprise for me. And I'll go ahead and try on a pair first before buying but yeah, I'll mostly likely go down a size or so.

No need for apologies. I believe the measurements around the thigh are the same for the new denim but the updated fit became slimmer below the knee to the ankle. So basically they became slimmer from the knee down.
Goodluck man I can assure you you will not be let down with the denim. I only own one pair but I love them. Enjoy

Not baggy at all

They have accurate measurements. Measure one of your nice fitting jeans and you should be good to go. I'm a 30 I'm most jeans and I wear a 29 in JE. You prob are a 29-28.
