natural waist is 33. i wear 32 in slp and 33 in acne denim. they updated the size charts after i ordered. it looks like the waist range is a full size bigger in the engineer pants
This is weird. I asked about this and was recommended a size large, and I have 33 waist. Now that I am looking at the updated measurements (which were terribly inaccurate, you're welcome to the early purchasers) it seems weird to buy anything other than a medium. Large is 34-38 inch waist. It says the drawstrings can help with 4 inches but nobody wants to have their drawstrings tied to the max just to wear the pants.

I have to pay around 100 in duties just to bring this stuff in so it's not like an exchange is even amicable considering JE's misleading information at the drop.

Also about the denim; I could be very wrong but I have a hard time believing JE's plan to reveal the new denim was "hey guys, that denim you've been waiting months to see was actually in all the product shots for the whole season" I'm hoping based on fit that its the old denim with an odd tan sample thrown in there.

They been actually using the updated fits since last season. The denim just never came out yet. Things can change but I think they are using the version that's releasing.

I'm going to let you guys figure this one out first then lol. I already had to deal with exchanges with the sweater.

I got em in the same size I take my escobars (L) and the waist is huuuge. Gonna have to send em back
so im wondering if the sizing guide was correct then? It said a medium waist was 18.5" which is ridiculously big lol and the inseams are sooo short

Anyone get the engineered pants? Curious to see what they look like in person

They're terrible. Ditto what the other guy said, waist is huge. Look and feel like parachute pants.

On another note. I got the small bouclee sweater, and I'm gonna have to stick to my medium.

My girl liked the oversized baggy fit on me. The small was nice but too fitted on me throughout the body and bc of it being fitted, it just looked like a regular sweater.

looked like i was swimming in a large boucle crew - exchanged for a medium but they're too tight on my shoulders (guess it won't work out)

got my olive/plast engineered pants today. I got a size large (31-32 waist L in escobars). They are way too big around the waist and tightening with the laces creates a bunch up effect. The materiel is also not very breathable and something tells me my legs will feel like a sauna after wearing them for a while. gonna have to return mine.

Looks like the pants are a no go then. Glad I haven't ordered them yet.

The boucle is hit or miss too it looks like. It all really depends on your shoulders. Medium on me looked like the machus model.

I don't know if what's modeled on JE's site actual production items or preproduction items but it will be helpful to get an idea of what the real thing looks like. The models all usually wear a medium but it seems like in reality the pieces can all differ.

I'm sure JE will make it up to you somehow. But yea, the engineered pants are probably the worst piece of item JE has ever come out with. Surprised to see them make something like that. (well, it's made really nicely, i guess the MATERIAL and sizing of the item is what really made me hate it)

I wanna cop the boucle sweater in black too, best item I own. Someone return their Medium...and return their tan merino wool sweater in M as well. Haha

@Jbidwal how tall are you and how much do you weigh?
that large boucle did look terrible on you and the medium looked much better. You said L is what you take in villains and stuff right? Are they slim/fitted on you or looser?
I kind of want to go tts and get an XL boucle. My XL villains are really slim and even my XXL is basically like a "regular" XL so it might not be bad.
