Thanks. Trying to decide where the good deals are at. Revolve, Ssense, and others offer better on Black Friday?

I believe Notre did 30% last year. Not sure if JE would get excluded though, plus they only have certain pieces.

I got mine from Revolve last year! I think it was 20% off JE site wide with free shipping. The only thing you gotta consider when ordering from a vendor and not JE themselves is that if something goes wrong with your product the vendor might not replace it, where as I've heard JE take very good care of people who order from them directly. I had a black U neck and the stitching at the bottom came out and they said they couldn't do anything, where as JE probably would've replaced it. Was unfortunate but I just cut the thread and I haven't had any problems.

Exactly. I'm actually really glad you mentioned that because if you plan on ordering JE from Notre specifically this Black Friday you should know that they absolutely won't do returns on anything discounted 25% or more as it's considered "final sale" at that point. Pretty imperative to know your size for whatever item you're looking at beforehand.

Edit: Also, I'm not super aware of the rules for submitting links, but here is a pretty comprehensive list of the Black Friday sales last year made by Styleforum - http://www.styleforum.net/a/black-friday-2015-the-styleforum-sales-list

Just have to know which stockists have JE or not.

I'm really bummed I missed this, size large sold out of the Rider almost instantly, and I still can't believe those low stock numbers when they came out for the amount of hype this collaboration had.  I hate to be one of those guys begging for a restock but since this is a web exclusive and if anyone from JE is reading this I hope you please make some more before Christmas.

I tried buying the medium rider at 10am and it said it was sold out. It's still listed on the site but in my cart when I click to purchase it says sold out. Really strange

It's either an issue with Shopify or how they set up inventory when they listed it, i would try chatting them right now to make the purchase

It's a cool jacket with a unique look. With that being said its not worth it for retail in my opinion. I got mine through a heavy discount, so I'm satisfied.

Thanks for responding guys.

Really surprised at the stock levels on those jackets.  They made ONE small in the stadium jacket.  I totally understand JE's desire to keep the hype train rolling and sell out of product left and right, but talk about leaving money on the table.

Saw and felt these in-person. This year's boucle is actually very warm, quite thick. The opening is as awkward as pictured. It doesn't have the ribbed cuff at the bottom. Kind of flairs out. I personally like the black melange more than the grey.

Also saw the PARACHUTE*** jacket in-person. Very thin material, but crazy details. If you wear a hoodie underneath, I would suggest sizing up (I wore a M kake today and tried on the L submarine). Looked amazing. Didn't take any photos.

Felt the Jacquard Thumper in person. Colours looked great. IMO hard piece to properly execute. Looked pretty slim, too. Didn't try it on. Wouldn't pay retail for it.

Saw and tried on the bogota jacket in black and alpine. Has a nice sheen to it. Not as thick as I thought it would be. Very warm if layering underneath. The alpine colour is more of a green-olive. I'd say the jacket looks quite similar to the way JE's site has it photographed. Regarding the high pocket placement - yes it is higher than normal. Feels kind of like making chicken wings with your arms?

Edit -- for anyone in TORONTO, CANADA -- Holt Renfrew Yorkville has Bogota (black) + parachute*** (alpine) in full size runs. Low on boucle pieces (small grey sweatpants). Decent size run of skittles. Full? size run of the jacquard thumper (S/M/L).

Might be getting the John Elliott x Gap bomber for 40% off.

OOPS. Parachute***. I was thinking of the OAMC jacket (labelled submarine) and got confused when writing this.

What else is left in delivery 2?
1. Gauze Terry kake and sweats
2. Wool mac coat

Anything else?

Yea, i'm in the same boat. not entirely convinced by the tail or the belt but i missed out on the last rider restock (got a 1/S and i looked like a fool) and this blackmeans collab was the one immediately available in 2/M.

Buy first, decide later.
