did anyone kop the cropped trousers? pics and/or review?

also did anyone get an email from JE customer service regarding the care instructions for the flannels? looks like they are all dry clean only now instead of whatever was originally on the tags

I can't imagine anything in the colab is going to be worth picking up for people that have a solid collection of real JE items.  Something has to give to get down to a GAP colab price point, and it's definitely going to be fit and materials, the only real reasons to buy JE in the first place.  Rider has got to be close in price to the original, or it's going to be a boxy vinyl jacket.  I'm guessing the boxy vinyl jacket. People have already been claiming a decline in JE quality for the main collection items, so the colab can only get worse from there.

gap x gq collab looks interesting, glad they highlighted him stressing the fit of the items..

Not comfortable. 33% wool. It's almost as stiff as the aluminum flight. You might even be able to rock this thing as a winter jacket. This thing will keep you toasty as fuck.

I'm heading up to NYC this week to do some shopping. I'm hoping they have it in at Barneys on Madison but I'm not getting my hopes up. May cop when I get back. Will def post pics if I do!

Edit: looks like it didn't quote, but this was in response to someone asking if I copped the parachute jacket in slate

that gauze material in the kake to me is no good I don't even find it appealing..the shasiko black denim looks dope tho no lie and the price is super fair..the jackets are cool but not something I would put into my rotation i already have alot of shit still just sitting on ice I can do without...i also wasn't feeling the new trucker until I seen the most recent post pic...literally wanted to punch someone in the face about my 2nd trucker fail...I'm still just waiting on some extra basics in new colors mainly tees hopefully sooner than later

why is the sashiko denim so moderately priced in comparison to the sashiko tee?

and I wonder if the panels are uncomfortable as they look like they are hitting someone right above and below the knees

aw man, was actually going to buy the sashiko denim in black but sold out in sz 28. dam

Just got the scarab denim, absolutely love it, the fit, color, and everything. Only thing is I'm not totally sold on the paint splatter on them. Has anyone tried taking them off? Or does everyone think that they make the jeans look even better? Thanks in advance

Was in the city today picking up some chairs for work and stopped in at Barneys Madison Ave and Kith to check out the JE stock - had a few quentins and the plumas/harlots at barneys, kith had the gauze kake which was even more underwhelming in person and felt unwearably stiff, and the black sashiko denim which actually looked pretty clean and peaked my interest - didn't have them in my size so I ended up just grabbing a pair of the oversized cropped sweatpants. Was hoping to find them in oak but went with black. Had pipe dreams of them having the new trucker/aluminum jacket at barneys but no such luck.

Just wondering, in your opinion what season/drop was the best?

Need some help on the jeans...
I went looking for a pair of cast springs and I tried one on and fit me well but I'm not sure if the color is spring or pluma. Is there a tag inside that say so because I can't find any. Thanks! 😺
