I like the slate a lot, and it might be more timeless, but for me the Alpine is more unique and really a standout piece. Definitely grabbing one as soon as soon as I see one on discount.

At least we know all future denim drops won't be in the $400+ range.

If you remember his collection with gap from a few years ago the quality was there coming from gap, it was not JE quality of course but it wasn't cheap alternatives with je name on it like the pacsun fog bs, the $200 quilted baseball jacket had real leather sleeves, the only thing I'm worried about is the fit which wasn't there last time hopefully it is this time.

Quality was fair on the last JE X Gap colab considering, but as @hyyvii mentioned the fits were pretty bad. I'm sure they will be improved this time around. Any idea on the release? I remember last time it was pretty random but correct me if I'm wrong

Agree ended up returning my whole order lol but seems like JE himself is stressing the fit this time. As far as released info on GQ they said at the end of this month but if not for sure first weeks of October.

Really excited about the prospect of a JE x Gap Rider's Jacket if it's done in real leather. Also I'm curious if anyone knows: are the Cast 2 Sashiko Panel done in raw/selvage denim, and is there any distressing? I've been looking to pick up a pair of black jeans in JE's fit, and I love the idea of sashiko detailing.

I kept my villain from last Gap drop as a beater, but agreed that fit was pretty far from the original. I hope the rider doesn't fit like a tent, I'm tempted to pick one up if it fits somewhat close to the original.

Word, I wasn't a huge JE fan at the time so I didn't end up copping anything from the first collab. Good to know the quality didn't suffer too much. I guess the good thing too is that with the lower price point we can kinda just go ham, try shit on, give it some thought and just return stuff later without having too much cash held down haha

Judging by the pics it looks as the black sashiko denim is distresses. In the close up pics it looks like a slightly faded nlack wash.

Yeah only interested on the outerwear from what was preview in the video but that is the good thing at it being a colab just got to be swift cause last time they sold out but did restock and even got stuff on sale with promo codes.

That thing better feel like dancing on a cloud for how hideous it is.  Way too ugly to not be comfortable, since it shouldn't leave your home.
