Yea and no knock on JE for experimenting. The gray one actually looks really interesting imo. And that aluminum jacket looks insanely cool and unlike anything I've ever seen before.

@jbidwal dang that's nuts how that jacket can do that. Love how JE experiments and comes out with very unique things. Mad jealous of your jacket collection.

How things are worn and how pictures are taken change the appearance of many things. You have to remember these are models with the most ideal propositions. Plus when all of us take mirror pics, the picture almost never comes out looking normal as we can't take a proper straight shot.

I haven't really liked the black fabric from pictures either though.

is there a good website or alerts app that can help you track specific products and if / when they go on sale? i don't really care about the new releases, more like wondering if there's a better way than to just google sales for black kake or villain everyday.

Crazy that they are putting out a rider for gap. Wonder what the cost and quality will be.

Got the thumper in today. Material is crazy - really cool texture, although in classic John Elliott fashion the color in the model shots isn't very accurate. Definitely more of a subtle black/gray than the black with gray stripes the model shots make it out to be. There are streaks of material that reflect light which is neat. The fabric is very soft. I'm used to a classic 100% cotton trucker and this is nothing like that. Only complaint is that the buttons are basically useless as the eyelets for them are too small. Felt like I was going to rip the fabric undoing them.

Take a pic of the material, really intrigued by it

If it's like the last gap collection you won't like the fit. Cut will be more boxy for your average American figure.

curious about this too -- still my favorite piece of clothing from JE.

I've been debating on copping one of this season's flannels. Worth $250 and if so which one? They all look dope.

Not worth $250. The maroon is the cleanest.

Sure, first pic is without flash, second with, third and fourth outside. Hard to take good pictures since the material doesn't reflect much light
