Also got the brown escobars. I do like them but I think I'm going to return them for the white kake. I can do more with the white kake. I really want to see how that looks under the rider and white denim

Shirt actually looks nice.  White make would look great layered under jackets.

If you haven't sent them back already/if you have time..would be great to see pics of the brown escobars...I'm on the fence re purchasing them.

Well, I caught the JE stuff from the Restock app. I just happened to do a search for John Elliott on Xhibition earlier today and they had the new denim and tees.

I live in Cleveland as well. I'm glad they're here, but the in-store experience is pretty limited. It's more about the 'vibe' or 'experience' than the actual product in-store, which is a tad disappointing.

100% Agree I was glad too see them at first but after some time it got old, fuck the vibe shit I want the product every exclusive drop shouldn't be online world wide raffle especially when its the only store in Ohio that will get the product. Just my thoughts.

Do they carry 28s? I thought I remembered someone on here posting that 29 was the smallest that they carried? I guess it's worth a call to confirm either way haha

I sent them back. Norte has them up if you want more pics. I think they work well with clay, dune, dove , oak, etc. even the greens will work. I just didn't think I would wear them much to keep. I rather see how the white kake works with jackets

Question for anyone with the leather high tops - have you experienced any "squeaking" coming from the shoes when you walk?

Even after ~9 months and countless wears my CP achilles lows will not stop making noise. Hoping the JE high tops don't have the same problem.

All my CPs do this.  It's usually from the leather tongue rubbing against the lace box.  For a short term fix, you can rub some vaseline on the tongue.  Mine are silent after that for 2-3 wears.

My CP's squeaked for about a month or so and have been great ever since.

Was it decided that Slate is similar to Charcoal or no? I've got a lot of black tees already but still want to try out the color if it's a little bit lighter

My achilles squeak like crazy. If i got fidgety feet in the office that shit gets me self conscious AF hahahaha.

Slate isn't quite comparable to charcoal in my opinion, it's definitely a bit darker than the JE charcoal as well as the season 7 washed black, with a slight tint of a dark, greyish blue.

Charcoal mercer on left, slate anti-expo on right. Picture is lighter than IRL, but charcoal is lighter in color than slate, slate is a faded black

Wrong again. Thins and ace, as well as the differences in the cut were mentioned multiple times.

Thin / ace. And rag and bone fit 1 are the best fitting/tapered jeans I've ever had. Quality not close to JE though. Jeans are super thin almost like jeggings
