Got my Oak Kake sz. 2 and went with the Trousers in a sz. 1. Cannot WAIT to rock those at the office.

I wonder why JE changed the oak color (unless the processing on site photos accounts for the difference - haven't held the newer oak pieces in hand) between the LS Classic Curve and the latest iterations. Prefer the darker shade on the LS Classic Curve.

Where do most of you guys live that you can wear sweaters right now? It's hot as shit everywhere in the United States.

I'm hoping the difference is due to lighting/filters... Will be pretty disappointing if the shade is different than my LS Classic Curve.

I live in Boston, and yes, it's too damn hot everywhere. I've been traveling a lot for work and it's hot ALL over. I have the Pigtail Mercer in all sizes, have worn them stand alone a few times but it's still too hot. I'm currently rocking my Military S/S button-down in Olive with my Cast 2 Mica, that's about all the JE I can rock at any point in this damn heat. I've bought the new sweats etc. and I know I won't be wearing them for awhile. The Anti-Expo tee's were my #1 cop for summer so far. Love 'em, now have all three colors.

@John Elliott - I know there were distinctions drawn between the material used on the ribbed mercer pullover and thermals, but is the material still 'thermal' in that it is thick/meant to keep wearer warm? Probably an obvious answer given that its a F/W piece; I love the shirt but probably won't end up grabbing it as I live in Miami and will rarely be able to wear it comfortably.

not sure im feeling the trousers so took a pass

grabbed my first kake in xs and s. typically take everything in s so will see which one fits best

the oak looks to be the same as the raw edge sweatpants so it might just be the photography lighting. similar to how the dark grey kake looks diff then the dark grey mercer but its the same IRL

@JohnElliot, will the denim this season be selvedge or no, specifically these? Really looking forward to these in particular if they are selvedge. Also thank you for making the classic crew charcoal co-mix with rayon fiber. New favorite tee.

Was super stoked about todays drop but was a little disappointed.  Passed on the Kake, I think 2 is plenty Kakes to have.  They always initially get a lot of attention, but are a little awkward on.  The trousers..Idk if it's 1 size too big on the model, but if it doesn't look good on the model, it won't look good on me.

Grabbed onto the white ribbed mercer just bc it was priced better than expected

If it's too hot for an item you just wear it at night time? Also it's not like when you wear things you will be out in the sun all day. You most likely be walking from your car to AC. It's simple to wear what you want any time of the year

Idk about you guys but it's crazy hot on the east coast. I've bought two JE hoodies and about to buy some sweats but I have no intention of wearing them in the next like month and a half. I'm just saving up for winter
post #20337 of 25409

@leclutchjames not really. Out here in LA its been 99 degrees.  If you're not wearing shorts and a tee..you'll overheat and pass out.  And the way the summers been going here at least, it is not cooling down in the evening to even wear a long sleeve tee.

And along the same lines with @arpman41, I haven't touched my sweatpants or sweatshirts in the past 2 months. BUTTT, save that ish up for winter cause JE stuff gonna sell out.  These releases are obviously FW16 and it starts now.

Maybe you've never been to Miami then. Humidity is extremely high regardless of time of day most of the year, making plenty of items tough to wear.

For me, the snug armpits stretched out after a couple of wears.
