I think it's half an inch. I had them taper to a slp pair that fits me well.

This makes me think the 3 will fit me better than 2 based on me taking the 3 in Rider so I can layer.

Might be the case. It fits similar to the rider in the arm pits. That will be the bottle neck for layering

Jbidwal--how did you size the Neros compared to the cropped denim?

Yeah I'm more concerned about the body width and the shoulder fit. By measurements its slightly bigger than the 3 in the rider, but eerily similar to the Swarm in 3, which I own/have owned both of and fit me the right way in my opinion.

More of a realistic outfit for how I will wear it. It feels just right in the arms. The body is slightly wide but the small isn't drastically different in that area either.

How's the stretch? Does it feel like it will stretch out a lot with wears?

They are both a 28. I went with 29 for spring and odeon and they ended up being too big after wear. I normally like to have a loose waist and let my legs carry the jeans but both 29 pairs got loose to wear like that. 28 is my real size.

Doesn't feel stretchy at all. Fairly stiff.

I'm keeping my XL thumper.  I'm very slightly over 6 feet tall and 185-190 pounds slim athletic build.  A large would have definitely been too small to layer with hoodies.  Makes sense because I also had to size up to an XL for the wool bomber - and the measurements on an XL thumper are actually smaller than the large flight jackets (I own one in L). Jbidwal also noted that the material is very stiff and not stretchy so some of you may need to size up, especially if you plan on layering with a hoody.  From medium fishtail raincoats to XL jackets, always gotta check that size guide with JE, but more importantly take into account the fit and stretch of the fabric.

I am also sticking with the Large O/S cropped hoody, fits perfect I wasn't sure it would since it's my first O/S crop hoody and after seeing DMills picture I got a bit nervous, but it fits perfectly and a medium would have been much too cropped, it already is very cropped at size large. Material is great super comfortable and probably thicker than the other OS/ crop hoodies.

Please restock the Nero denim, really really want to cop.  Will they show up on Barneys online store? @Johnelliott

Seeing you go up to 4 and @Jbidwal go from 1 to 2 is convincing me my 3 that arrives tomorrow in the Thumper will fit well. I plan on layering with it.
