I'm on board with you on those OS sweatshirts.  They are so easy to wear.  Pretty sure JE will begin/consider releasing them in non-washed colors bc of how popular they have been.  I ended up grabbing onto all 4 hoodies and crew necks, and have been wearing them all quite a bit.  Thin enough to wear a jacket over it and doesn't feel constricting.

True true but then again the cropped hoodie hasn't really stretch. My old ass dual flash haven't really stretch either just in the arms but it's not bad at all just formed to my arms. That's one thing I like about JE terry is that it holds its shape so for people saying they sized down because it's going to stretch doesn't make sense to me at all

Depends on the initial fit. If it's already looking big on you it won't get better. Sizing down as I mentioned before only works if you are under 6 feet and don't have broad shoulders. by stretch I don't mean grow in sizes or shape. Just it loosens up a bit.

At first I didn't like the thinness but as I worn it the terry doesn't act like cheap thin terry. I agree it's perfect for ca and I worn all of my thin terry pieces more than I worn all of my thicker terry pieces all year. The simplicity and the drape of the os is perfect for all builds and heights.

My grey Kake comes Monday.  Ordered an XS, as it's all that was left, but I'm worried it will be too small so if anybody has a size small that you think is too big, let me know.

how did you size on the hoody.. very good alternative

^^ Damn, that looks identical to the JE hoodie.  That's a very expensive alternative though

I moved from LA to NYC 4 years ago bc I got admitted into a program I'd been hoping for...and when you're in a program that requires you to be at school from the early morn until evening, and then study immediately after until bed time almost 7 days a week, JE clothing is the only sensible thing to wear.  And to run errands, like grocery shopping, or a quick run to Duane Reade does not require an outfit of the night type of outfit.  So sure, I've really had no life in the past 4 years besides studying, running errands, and a date night with my girl every now and again...

But wearing JE items is anything but "lazy slob"

This phenomena of always dressed up really only lives on social media and online. 99% of the country doesn't care what you wear or how you look. Just wear what you like and what suits the weather. Dressing nice imo is having things fit a certain way that suits your body.

Meh. Not really. The bay area is full of smart 20-40s "lazy slobs" who start and help build multi-million dollar tech companies. A "lazy slob" can be walking down the street and he's actually the CEO of Twitter.

This is crazy. You need need $200 dollar sweat pants to study and when you are in school no one will care how you are dressed as long as you are not wearing dad jeans.

I always felt JE terry pieces were a good price.  I love the brand and feel good wearing it.  And my girl loves the look on me, so that's a plus.

*comes into a thread about a brand who specializes in men's basics to complain about men wearing basics...LOGIC, that!
