Yeah, I'm not sure how intricate that process is, but pushing the price to +$26 on the mercer tee makes the price pretty steep.  I guess in JE's defense, the tees do pay off over time.  I've no joke probably worn my black mercer tee 3-4 days a week since it initially released way back in 2014, and have washed it 2-3 times a week..and it's still holding up solid.

I'm about the same build as you, wider set shoulders. I wear a large in villains and they fit perfect, slightly on the slim side. Saw ppl on here saying go with your villain size for the intended fit so I actually went with a large. Anyways guess you'll get to try both haha so let me know how that goes cause I'm kinda worried too now

I agree. JE road the oversize trend. I give it 6 months till its out of style.

I don't think that.

I think john just figured out you can't layer slim clothes with slim clothes. Something has to be bigger.

i don't think anything JE has done is trendy.  The sweatshirt may be considered "oversized" but it's not oversized enough to be considered a trend like some of the other extremely oversized stuff by other designers that is being released right now.

After one wash any color transfer should be gone.

John do you recommend Woolite Dark Detergent for even the lighter colors such as Clay and Navy? (Both the washed tees and hoodies)

If not, would you recommend 'Woolite Everyday' detergent or the 'Woolite Extra Delicates Care' detergent for the Clay and Navy washed pieces.

Just want to get the best out of these fine pieces. Thanks for the help ITT =)

Everything is a trend, get a surf board, ride the shit out of it and move on. Do what YOU want.

haha... well if it may make even a slight difference in maintaining quality, I rather be "that guy" and get the best possible wear

out of my clothing.

If they are dirty wash them on cold inside out if you wanna. Should be fine together. Then hang dry

but you can always just throw them in the dryer without washing and the fibers will shrink back together

Yeah, I got some decently wide shoulders as well (blame the gym lol). Never owned a Villain so definitely don't know how these compare to fit. Will let you know how things pan out.
