Thank you @JohnElliottCo !

I like the Kane colourway, that is a pretty unique colour for denim. The fit leaves something to be desired for me though. Looks nice but will most likely pass at least for now.

Can't buy everything lol

Waiting for the coast. I am not interested in raw denim although if I can catch these on sale later on I would get the Kane the color is nice.

I just don't see why I would buy these over say acne...like I can understand if they make some cool washes with distressing but this raw denim stuff is too boring for 325

So there's no actual size for someone with a 28 inch waist? Man, I don't get JE's sizing for denim.

I'm not trying to be an a hole or anything but doesn't adding the 2% stretch to raw denim kind of defeat the purpose?

Really curious on the reasoning behind that

Also will the wash denim reach a 34 inseam? Or just 32/33

Or even SLP, it's not hard to find their more basic models for 325-350

exactly

I know that the response will be that the denim used was custom made, but Naked & Famous makes amazing custom selvedge denim jeans for about $150. You also have tons of higher end denim nerd options like 3Sixteen, or any other number of brands from Selfedge, or as mentioned before you can go designer like Acne, SLP, or any other number of brands. I've been buying (lots of) John Elliott clothing since Feb '13, and this is the first to seem price totally incorrectly.

Was looking forward to these for months. But will pass based on price and odd stretch/raw fabric. Colors are strong, but other factors outweigh that positive.

The 2X1 denim with 2% stretch is pretty unique - due to the tighter weave of the fabric it is really subtle. All of these are similar to the weave on our previous Obsidian denim, if any of you owned it of reference.

The Coast wash, coming very soon, will not have stretch but will have the new fit & hardware details.

For SS16 we will be introducing new washed and distressed / destroyed denim, dry process, made entirely in Japan. More details closer to those releases but should be around January / Feb.

@JohnElliottCo, I own the the cast in 29 as well as the obsidian. I fit in the coast 29 ( a bit tight though).

Which size should I go for the Cast 2 ?

Thanks!

But the waist of the previous model stretched out quite a lot.

when brand new, the 29 of the casts were perfect. would the 30 of the newer cut be similar ?

Might be the computer I am on but sizing chart doesn't work for me. Overall the denim looks good. A washed version of Obsidian is going to be sick.

Will cop the Kane color when I'm able to determine my size.

JE, Is this tee being released for Fall?
