What's the durability like on the escobars? How do they hold up over time?

It's terry with high quality stitching. Depends on how you wear and take care of them. They won't fall apart but terry does wear eventually.

@JohnElliottCo Any chance for an eventual restock in any of the following:

Nude Villain

Burgundy Villain

41 Overshirt - Charcoal

Indigo Yuma Shirt

I love each of these pieces and would love the opportunity to purchase in the near future.

Does the waist of the Escobars hold up? Or stretch out quickly?

It might be the denim that's been seen over and over in the latest bunch of releases but I could be wrong as I have never purchased denim from JE.

For instance in the merino crew (ivory) photos, the model is wearing tan denim that may be one of the variations alluded to previously a few pages back by JohnElliottCo.

Personally for me, the fabric and washes on the denim look excellent but the fit leaves something to be desired, at least in my opinion from the photos I've seen.  It seems like all of the denim has a weird shape where it curves outwards on the thigh above the knee and then curves back inward from the knee to the ankle. And excessive stacking (like there's too much jean) near the ankle, and the model is really tall at 6'2 - could be the intended design of JE though. The black raw might be the denim in the grey boucle crew photo - but that may be the old denim?

Like you, I prefer a more tapered fit from knee to ankle on most of my denim.

The curves are from the models legs. Everyone has curved legs. When you wear skinny jeans, that's how they look. The actually jeans don't have curve. They will look like how your legs look.

Are you able to confirm if that is the previously released denim that is seen on most of the new releases? Or is that the new stuff?

All the newer models wear the new cut. Skinny jeans in general curve to your legs. That particular model did some shots for fear of God and you can kind of see the curves there too. When you have stacking like that it kind of adds to the effect. Everyone has curved legs though. When you have skinner jeans they will look like that. Remember not all skinny jeans are skin tight.

All in all, it looks like the denim will be slp d02 cut like.

Damn. What's your waist size? Maybe you have been getting the wrong size in escobars too. Harder to tell what size you are though since sweats fit a larger range due to the elastic.

natural waist is 33. i wear 32 in slp and 33 in acne denim. they updated the size charts after i ordered. it looks like the waist range is a full size bigger in the engineer pants
